Cheer up, Bailey. Sergio's heritage is from Spain so he's essentially a transplanted Euro. It's not to late for you to jump on that bandwagon. :rofl
bailey, this is pathetic, really. betting scam? So Dzindiruk was a eurubum all the time, and you knew he was a eurobum? But what about your "analysis"? You know, the stuff about Martinez being hyped because he only beat Americans? That sounded like standard bailey fare, and yet now you're saying it was a scam? You're freely copping to being some sort of a fraudster? That's not going to make you any friends around here. bailey, this is sad. I don't know what this will do for your credibility at ESB. I fear people will conclude you're a complete, oh I don't know -- douchebag. I'm really worried about you. I'm distraught.
If bailey ever gets brave enough to start betting his dole money on fights the guy will end up starving.
Well played Bailey.:happy Chinchecker HQ is having a party tonight to celebrate this result, as well as me passing my Chinchecking initiation exam.:thumbsup All members of ESB are welcome, but only have access to the lobby. Chinchecker seminar rooms, archives and demonstration rooms will be out of bounds.:nono
This is horrible PR for Team Elite. Horrible! A terrible prediction and then a ridiculous red-fonted confession of a "scam" in a desperate and preposterously transparent attempt to save face! oh, the credibility! Not that there was any to start, but good lord, this doesn't help.
Let's give Bailey some credit, his point of not knowing the opponent shouldn't make the known fighter a heavy favorite is legit, plus he gave us some analysis too, not to mention he's here despite his prediction went wrong. Martinez, Calzaghe and Pirog - they also came "out of nowhere", just where they succeeded Dzinziruk failed, but that doesn't make him a lesser fighter if you know what kind of talent had his number.
That's not "boxing" analysis. That's saying: "this guy is not known too well in America, he's pretty good, and therefore he will win because I hate Americans -- even though Sergio Martinez is Argentinian. But he lives in America, so for all intents and purposes, he's American. Therefore the Ukraninian guy will win. Besides, if the Ukranian guy wins, Calzaghe will look better in some way." That's not boxing analysis. Examine the original post. Did he mention one thing about actual boxing? Did he mention the Dzindiruk jab, or his defense? No. He spoke only of his pet prejudices, denigrating Cintron and Paul Williams along the way. In short, it was garbage. Now brave "bailey" disowns it, calling it all a "scam".
LOL you say something dumb everytime, martinez has been based in spain for most of his career Actually both the klits are beverly hills based for years now, so maybe there actually american fighters as well? Hell, anyone who has ever set foot in the states must now qualify :nut
Damn I got this terribly wrong! Amazing props to martinez. Spectacular performance against a proven undefeated champion. Overtakes donaire in my list and jumps back up to number 3 p4p. Potentially number 1 if floyd stays inactive and pac continues with the joke fights.
You should have seen it coming after my Dirrell v Abraham prediction thread. :deal Who cares about PR when you are bringing home the bacon?:rofl atsch Now excuse me. I have just instructed my minions to cast my yacht off from the harbour. I am going up deck with my strawberry daiquiri and I'm going to enjoy the glorious sunshine whilst counting my winnings. :deal
He picked a fighter he earlier claimed to be superior to Ray Leonard(although said fighter has never beaten an elite opponent) to win a fight. After the result doesn't mesh with his psychotic delusion he slips further into his disease by having his alts claim victory in a new conspiracy to defraud people of fake money. I always new that Calslappy fans were screwed up but at this point I'm willing to say this guy needs serious help.
