I am once again commiting myself on a thread, with a prediction, ready to leave myself open to attack from the haters.
Arthur Abraham has been fighting Froch's left overs recently and is now going to have to face the real deal. Abrahams last 2 opponents have been fighters that Froch had beaten in their previous fights.

Froch has a proven SMW resume of Reid, Magee, Pascal and Taylor, (Dirrell not included as he wasnt a fighter with a known resume and hasnt yet achieved his potential) with a close decision loss to Kessler whilst AAs consists of a win over previously KOd Miranda, previously KOd Taylor and a DQ loss to Dirrell who was beaten by Froch in his outing before.

I think Froch will beat Abraham (but will at some point have to absorb a flush AA shot) and wouldnt be shocked if Froch won inside the distance exposing AA as a hype job to go along with Dirrell, Lacy, Pavlik, Taylor, Tarver, Jacobs, Williams, Dawson etc

Who do you think will win?

I have been making some good predictions with Martinez to beat Williams in the rematch and Pascal to beat Dawson, in threads on here before the fights took place

In fairness most people picked Martinez.

I see Abraham winning a UD.

Abraham can be outboxed, but as far as we know, it takes; Good handspeed, good footspeed, good lateral movement, hard, piercing straight shots. Unfortunately, Froch possesses few of those qualities. He doesn't have the speed or movement to get out of the way of Abrahams short, powerful hooks. He doesn't have the handspeed to overwhelm Abraham with shots from the outside, and he throws long, looping hooks. These hooks will not pierce Abrahams guard, as is needed to land frequently against him. Froch doesn't have the accuracy to land frequently from the outside, so he will be connecting with Abrahams guard for much of the fight.

Froch keeps his hands low, and his head movement is poor. Abraham will block Froch's looping hooks, and score on the inside with powerful shots of his own. I suspect Froch may win several of the early rounds on activity alone, but once Abraham comes alive, he will land frequently. If a fast, relatively good boxer like Jermain Taylor cannot outbox Abraham, I cannot see Carl Froch doing it.

    Abraham by UD.

how much money are u ready to bet on that? :huh

Froch lost to Dirrell and Kessler so he lost both his fights in S6.
Art will KO him and does not mater Froch will box or try to KO him. All the guys who thinks Abraham cant box will see the opposite side of that and I will not even be surprised if I see Froch knocked down by a body punch.
Anyway a great fight to see
    War Abraham

Why would picking Froch leave you open to "attacks"? This is a genuine 50/50 fight and picking fights is no science. I could definitely see Froch winning this fight, although i'm picking Abraham.

You've made reasonable comments, apart from the "exposed" bit.

This isn't as big a deal as you make it sound because you are attacked in every thread of yours for being a biased, ignorant ****.

No, not by KO but most people picked Martinez to win, including myself. And I cant see how picking Froch to win in a 50/50 fight will leave you open to attack.

I'm also predicting a Froch win. Hopefully we won't look stupid on Saturday after the fight, since Froch is known to get hit and get sloppy on defense. He has to watch for the right cross and fight a disciplined fight.

Now whos looking ignorant. I was attacked for predicting Pascal to beat Dawson on points and then it happend. Shows I wasnt bias but what I said before about who they had fought etc was reasonably accurate, so much so that after Pascal beat Dawson, the Ring mag said after what I had said.
The post about Hype jobs that I started in August said if Williams fights Martinez again or Dzinziruk, he would lose. That was back in August.
The thread I did on The SMW division not being as strong had another boost when D Green who lost to Beyer when an undefeated SMW recking machine, went on to KO Jones and Briggs (who gave Adamek 2 hard fights), and beat B J Flores a rated CW.

Maybe you should read and take it in a bit more, you may learn something

You may be right but Taylor and Pascal were proven at SMW......:think

You sure seem to hate any american based fighter.

Froch can get the decison and AA can get the KO.

''Bailey mode'' I really hope to see Froch hype job being exposed.
