Hey Bailey/blocky...whatever your name is. How big a win is this for Froch? Curious, since in other threads, you basically discredited wins vs. guy who came up in weight. Which AA did just a year ago.

Froch has a proven SMW resume of Reid, Magee, Pascal and Taylor, (Dirrell not included as he wasnt a fighter with a known resume and hasnt yet achieved his potential) with a close decision loss to Kessler whilst AAs consists of a win over previously KOd Miranda, previously KOd Taylor and a DQ loss to Dirrell who was beaten by Froch in his outing before.

I think Froch will beat Abraham (but will at some point have to absorb a flush AA shot) and wouldnt be shocked if Froch won inside the distance exposing AA as a hype job to go along with Dirrell, Lacy, Pavlik, Taylor, Tarver, Jacobs, Williams, Dawson etc

I see the win for what it is. A good win but I havent forgot that AA was a former MW champ who hadnt beaten anyone of note and then moved up to SMW and hadnt beaten a genuine world class SMW (Taylor was a world class MW but had lost to Pavlik at SMW, and Lacy was ruined), the guys he beat were coming off losses. Froch was the first big genuine world class SMW he was facing.
Froch beat AA in the manner that he should, which made it a good win. If it had of been a close fight then I would have possibly guessed either Froch has dipped more than I thought or that AA might not be the hype job I was guessing him to be.

Still Froch put on a very good performance and won in style and scored a good win, like I predicted. Froch has shown himself to be a good world class SMW

The guy does not have the footwork to keep AA off him for too long. I think AA will start quicker than in previous fights (or he will certainly try) and his gameplan will be simple. Drag Froch into a war. Froch is too stupid (he lacks boxing acumen) to avoid this scenario (no matter what his trainer says to him) and he will play right into Abraham's hands.

I truly believe this will be Carl Froch's last fight. I think he will never be the same after the beat down he is about to receive. I would question his hunger (from interviews I have seen/read and general body language and demeanour. He has made enough money to live a secure life. He is a new father and I think deep down he knows he can't beat Andre Ward. Abraham on the other hand is a true warrior, he has better hand speed, better footwork, bigger puncher and harder chin. Froch lossing his 0 will have a serious effect on him mentally and I swore I would fade him huge as soon as this happened. Add to the fact, as far as judging goes this may as well be in Germany and this is just beyond a tasty bet.

Can Froch win? Of course. There is not a huge amount of difference in class between them, but at these odds and when you condiser all the variabiles that come into play for this fight, King Arthur represents amazing value at these odds. Take it....

Abraham can be outboxed, but as far as we know, it takes; Good handspeed, good footspeed, good lateral movement, hard, piercing straight shots. Unfortunately, Froch possesses few of those qualities. He doesn't have the speed or movement to get out of the way of Abrahams short, powerful hooks. He doesn't have the handspeed to overwhelm Abraham with shots from the outside, and he throws long, looping hooks. These hooks will not pierce Abrahams guard, as is needed to land frequently against him. Froch doesn't have the accuracy to land frequently from the outside, so he will be connecting with Abrahams guard for much of the fight.

Froch keeps his hands low, and his head movement is poor. Abraham will block Froch's looping hooks, and score on the inside with powerful shots of his own. I suspect Froch may win several of the early rounds on activity alone, but once Abraham comes alive, he will land frequently. If a fast, relatively good boxer like Jermain Taylor cannot outbox Abraham, I cannot see Carl Froch doing it.

Froch lost to Dirrell and Kessler so he lost both his fights in S6.
Art will KO him and does not mater Froch will box or try to KO him. All the guys who thinks Abraham cant box will see the opposite side of that and I will not even be surprised if I see Froch knocked down by a body punch.
