Roach said on Mosely 24/7 that they were fighting Marquez next!

    This is false

Mosely tweeted, the night of the Pacquiao/Margarito fight that he had just received the CONTRACT offer from Top Rank for a Pacquiao bout

Marquez was the same. He signed to face Pacquiao, before Pacman even got in the ring with Mosely.

Floyd said in an interview today, that Al Haymon hasn't heard from anyone in Pacquiaos team for over a year!

Why doesn't Pacquiao fight a young lion in his prime?

Nothing was signed until about 2 weeks ago when GBP gave up on matching TR's offer.

It's so transparent, Floyd let Pac get himself tied up into a fight before coming out. :yep

It looks like bradley was going to be next in may but with this may-ortiz news we would have to wait and see what happens.

I don't know about that. Bob Arum was talking about JMM before the Mosley fight even happened. Did the same with Marg and Clottey. Hell he did the same thing involving Cotto as well. Whenever Bob Talks about an opponent for Pac its guaranteed he is going to fight that person. I also read the other day that Cotto is suppose to fight Chavez in his next fight.

I think the version Pac fought of Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley is are all even odds or better (some much better) against Ortiz.

Ortiz only has one decent win in Berto in a fight he hit the deck twice, and also he was recently stopped by Maidana and got a draw against Peterson (who got schooled by Berto)

While this is definitely a better choice than Pac's JMM, stop shitting me by calling this a legit fight.
This is as lopsided as it could get people.
I'm going for Mayweather by KO.

This is like the prospect of Pac fighting Berto before Ortiz defeated him.
It looks good on the shell, but every boxing fan worth his salt knows that it's a f*cking mismatch.

If he wanted to impress the fans, he would've egged Sergio to come fight at 154.
Now that will at least resemble a "legit fight".

I consider this as no more than a tune-up for Floyd.
Same is true with Pac's JMM bout.
After these, no more clowning around and give us the trilogy we all been waiting for.

That's a plus!:good Floyd could have definitely faced someone with a name to fatten his pockets more, but at the end of the day Ortiz is low risk and helps Floyd's legacy by grabbing anther title.

Marg wouild be more of a challenge than Ortiz and Shane wouldn't be a sellable fight after his PAC performance.

Floyd made a great choice in fighing Vic.

Look, every boxer is guilty of it. FIGHTING old guys. Oscar, Tszyu, hatton and Floyd himself.

But at some point you have to fight a young lion.Look at this list.

    Mosley 39
    Marquez 37
    Dela hoya 36

    Old has beens.

nothing was signed....Floyd could have opened his mouth unless he only decided to come back and fight this last 2 weeks after Pac signed on for Marquez.

.....and again Cotto is open. :good
