Provodnikov is a more relentless, higher volume, tougher version of Maidana.
I really thought Maidana would get beaten soundly by Broner, and I am still surprised Broner couldn't get out of the way of Maidana's left hooks.

Provodnikov is a slightly better finisher than Maidana imo, I think he'd be too much for Broner over the stretch and stop him late.

 

I honestly don't see that. They look about similar to me in terms of quality. Both beat Broner but I don't think Prov would've fared significantly better. Just another wide UD with some KDs.

 

You guys are crazy...i have little doubt Alvardo smokes Maidana. If he can handle rios he can handle maidana.

Won't happen due to promoters, but the result is a foregone conclusion. Disappointing we won't see Ruslan with Garcia, Matthysse, and Maidana, because those fights would be crazy.

 

Stop overrating Alvarado. He's really not a very good fighter. Style just works really well with Rios', who incidentally is also not a very good fighter.

People rated Broner so highly when it was so blatently obvious he had nowhere near the defense.

 

I believe Provo is a free agent and he is the type of guy to clamour for big fights.
