Im proud of Fedor

  1. Yeah he could wave that finger around but the fact is that he himself had to abandon his submission attempt in order to not be submitted. Fedor easily countered.

I think Big Dan was prudent in halting the contest. Fedor's eye injury was severe. If not for that then it would have been anyone's fight. Both men showed huge hearts and both were rightfully exhausted. This is the type of contest that warrants a rematch. If Silva wins the tornament then I this could possibly occur.

Wow, that was a true heartfelt post, just reading the first paragraph almost watered my eyes. The last time I even felt remotely like this is when 'Marvelous' Marvin Hagler lost to 'Sugar' Ray Leonard. That day, like this weekend, made me feel like we lost something. Reading that post, however, put nice positive outlook on this last weekend's event. If Fedor decides to retire then it's probably for the best; better to have him go while he's just beginning to descend the peak then to wind up like Frank Shamrock. Thanks for the memories Fador, it was a hell of a ride!

lol that got a rise. Fedor beat nog and cro cop back when they were at their best ive seen all his fights i had free sat back in the day and never missed a pride. I just really beleive the last many years he did't seek any challenges at all. he fought matt lindland for crying out loud. I'm a fan of people that seek to fight the best the losses only reflect the competition level they face. perfect examples hopkins couture gsp couture tried to quit ufc to fight fedor, but fedor never made a single attempt to fight the best even though they sought him. **** off trolls

And this was by far his worst night in the cage, and he still finished trying to end the fight and submit Bigfoot. That is what people seem to be overlooking. He got his ass handed to him and had a very bad round, got his face beat in and controlled the entire round. But he escaped the mount and that arm triangle, and when the time ran out..he was attempting a submission!

Fedor is a living legend. Nobody else in the sport compares to him.

Glad he didn't quit in the second round and I'm glad he didn't tap.

Fedor fought in the Russian army. He has THE BEST chin in all of MMA. He would NEVER tap to strikes.
