I don't know promotional pacts and what not, but what about Lateef Kayode? It'd be an interesting style clash. He campaigns in America and has "moved up" to HW despite not fighting since Tarver I think. Odds are if he wanted to take on a ranked opponent out of the gate there, and if his team was willing to cash out and see if they have something special or not, he'd want a fellow smaller, inactive fighter such as yourself who also brings a big name... Dunno, but I think it's a doable fight, moreso than a lot of the Euro's who I just don't see fighting you for whatever reasons, legit or not.

One thing is clear the german or german based Cruiserweights are ALL busy right now. Hernandez has a mandatory defense coming up. So has Huck. Arslan is going for a title shot against Huck and it looks like he would get the second fight against Huck without beating anybody. (If Huck wins against Afolabi).

 

Jeez, is Kayode even still fighting? Totally forgot about him, but he's a dangerous fighter. Kayode-Chambers would be a very exciting fight, but I don't see the upside for Eddie.

If there's nothing for him at CW, then maybe challenge David Haye? Haye needs a credible opponent, who isn't a massive puncher, and Eddie would fit the bill perfectly. It would be another excellent fight, but with all sorts of upsides.

 

I also prefer a fight against Haye, would be excellent. Alternatives : Fury, Solis, Charr or Helenius.

 

Eddie, please fight fight Lebedev after he deals with Jones

 

Eddie see if you can force Haye to stop ducking you. I reckon you would out box him pretty easily and take him comfortably on points.

Haye isn't realistic guys.

There is nothing in Haye's track record or in what he has said which indicates he will ever be open to a fight with Chambers (at least not now or short term).
