when he's gone of course....not too many elites will risk a multi million dollar fight against the best out there the way he is doing against berto....kind of reminds me of when margo took on pwill before cotto and almost ruined his chances.....to me, this is what makes boxing what it is....real warriors that wanna test themselves no matter what or who stands in their way.....

Beleive me soon enough we will be saying we miss the sport of Boxing, if we continue to get these saftey first Business type fighters in the sport, rather than fighters who are after legacy, Dana White will have a case in another ten years.

Look at it like this, though we have had some barn burners in the last ten years this last ten years still doesnt come close to the ten year span during the 90's

if we do not get any new excitement the sport will collapse.

whatever Mosley should fight Berto as far as I'm concerned, it's the most sensible fight for him, if he wins he's earned his big fight vs Mayweather and if he loses then we move on. it's funny how all mosley had to do is beat a non plaster of paris margarito a year ago for everyone to be calling for a fight between him and Mayweather despite him getting beat soundly by Cotto.

the only reason he is fighting berto is becuase manny, and floyd turned him down, or he would be taking the multi million doller fight no question. but shane is fighting the best so got give him credit.

Let me ask you this question, would Margarito have fought Williams in the first fight if Williams wasn't the mandatory challenger?

Yea he's one of the old school dudes. Consistently faced the best for over a decade and still willing to put it all on the line. I can't believe some of the **** he gets on here.

I agree if we have a pattern of big money elite boxers it won't be good.

What do you think about the Mayweather vs Mosley debate? Are Mosley's actions justified ... and should Mayweather give him an immediate shot? ...

Are you aware of the past challenges made by both fighters?

Doesn't matter. How many big fighters give up their belts to face a bigger challenge? And Cotto eas definitely considered bigger than Williams at the time.

people have been calling for him vs mayweather for years now....plus, it's mayweather that should be looking for mosley, not the other way around.....mosley has fried bigger fish and has taken on the absolute best of his era....
