I'm saying it now, Wilder is the hardest hitting HW of all time.

Now I'm not saying Wilder is the best fighter of all time but i believe he has the biggest one shot power of all time. That right hand is like a bullet and just as damaging. Just goes to show that you don't have to be a SHW to have the most power in the division.

I agree with your comment about not having to be a SHW but Ernie Shavers would have knocked Ortiz out cold having caught him like Wilder did or if he hit him with the shot that decked Holmes, I would say it`s between Shavers and Wilder though for the hardest puncher of all time, I do feel that the punch Lennox Lewis knocked Weaver out with would have sparked Ortiz also though.

I don't believe that at all, Shavers didn't hit as hard neither did Lewis. Ortiz is a tank, most fighters would have been asleep after taking those shots.

Just shows that myth is busted. You don't have to look like the Hulk to have devastating power, just ask Tommy Hearns.

He has not fought enough fighters to say he punches harder than Foreman or Shavers or Tyson or Lewis. Or even Tua.. He has a punch like Hearns a little, but he lacks Hearns great skills and jab.

He certainly as IMO, who the hell did Shavers actually knockout then? I've never seen a punch like his right hand in the HW division, it's like a lightning bolt. He is the HW Tommy Hearns, not got the skills but the power and the fragility.

It's too soon to tell that kind of things. He showed a tremendous punching power but i don't think he hits harder than George Foreman.

It helps if you tower over just about all your opponents though like Wilder and Hearns do so height does come into it as well. It’s not as simple as saying that it’s all down to weight and bulk.

Ive also been saying that he is one of the hardest punchers ever.
Up there with Louis, Dempsey, Foreman, Marciano, Tyson, Shavers, Baer, etc.

Even saying he is like Hearns is premature. Hearns proved it by knocking out legends. But he has the body type of Hearns. I would say he still needs to prove against other guys he is the hardest puncher. Lennox Lewis or Tyson or Foreman?

I don't think it's too soon at all to tell, i don't believe for one second Foreman had the single shot power of Wilder. It truly is devastating, this is coming from a guy who doesn't think he's a great fighter.

None of those had the single shot power of Wilder. Now I'm not saying they wouldn't beat him but with every knockout he scores you couldn't write him off against anyone. His power is devastating and will hurt any man.
