I'm saying it now, Wilder is the hardest hitting HW of all time.

One thing that we both can agree on is that Young was a novice and put in too soon.

He was green yes. Shavers also had him on the deck in the rematch 8 fights later when Young was more seasoned. Next fight young schooled Ron Lyle. Even dropping Young in the rematch is extremely notable.

I'm not disputing that, i also believe Wilder would put Young on to the canvas. Wilder is also a better finisher than Shavers as well IMO.

Shavers was so so as a finisher which is part of his problem against better fighters in particular. He could tire easy and could be extremely sloppy.

Wilder may put Young on the canvas. Young was extremely crafty tho but Wilder also carries late power (pacing oneself like a snail doesn't hurt) so Young would have to be diligent for the entire fight.

No he isn't. If you bothered to look at his body (no homo) during the fight last night you would have seen a man with NO gut, No flab around his middle or over his trunks, NO man boobs. Ortiz was in great shape; you're just mad because you're a Wilder hater. But the facts remain...Ortiz was not a fat man on Saturday night.

Ortiz is fat and overweight at 240 pounds if you.can't see it you are blind or stupid.

All the ****ing fat on his hip

https://goo.gl/images/XAn9Xc

This body to be in shape should go down until 218-220 pounds. You know **** about anything.
Ortiz was perfect at 217 against jose santos where he won by ko in 1 or vs frank mola at 220.
And the people forget that this guy is 38

I thought he had some surplus around his hips, but overall he was in good shape,he gassed trying to finish it when he had Wilder in trouble and his age whatever it is ,probably prevented him from recovering in time to finish the job as it did Wlad v AJ.imo

Wilder is a sloppy finisher, he goes frenetic when he has a guy hurt.

Well I will take Foreman's immediate post fight comments over his comments years later. Moorer also said he was out on his feet before the final 1-2. He was hit with several power shots that chipped away at him before he was knocked out. He took a hard 1-2 literally seconds before he was KO'd

are you gonna claim Chavez's KO over Taylor was a 1 punch KO as well?

Trust me I am a fan of Foreman and NOT a fan of Wilder's but he has demonstrated superior 1 punch KO ability and to say otherwise is just ignoring evidence.

Foreman even in his prime was ALWAYS a clubber because you could always see the punches coming. It's almost impossible, even with huge power to knock a conditioned top fighter cold with a punch that he sees coming and expects.

Hence why handspeed and the "set up" is so important in 1 punch KOs. Foreman's attack was predictable and made it possible for guys to "brace themselves". He knocked people out despite of that crudeness because of his strength and power but Wilder is explosive and puts people down suddenly and unexpectedly.

It's a different kind of punching ability. And despite Foreman's immense strength and weight behind his shots, it is important to note that he was never that "sharp" type of puncher like Lewis and Tyson, even if his punches we're heavier and more painful

Lamar Clark ran up a similar ko string.

Who else did Peter floor 3 times and almost beat? Nobody , unless you bring up some no name hamwallet. Peter taking Wlad to the brink of defeat says more about Wlads deficiencies than it does about Peter being any good.
Peter in that fight looked nothing more than a slow , wild swinging bum. Ortiz and Wilder would have knocked him for 6.
Jennings is about equal to Eddie Chamber. Peter lost to Chamber / Ortiz flattened Jennings.

Who else did Ortiz beat? Jenniings and Chambers don't have the same style at all. Wlad is a bigger puncher than Wilder or Ortiz and couldn't knock out Peter in their first fight and neither would Ortiz and Wilder. Peter is no slower than Ortiz. Peter is/was a bum and so is Ortiz. At least Peter didn't hav to use PED's.

Ortiz hurting Wilder says more about Wilder than it does about Ortiz. Because who did Wilder beat? Arreola? Molina? Bermaine Steverne?

Ortiz beat Jennings who is as good if not better than Chamber. Peter lost to a fat Chamber who was standing in front of him.
Jennings was stopped by Ortiz. Maleek Scott would probably beat Peter.

Look what Helenius did to Peter - toy'd wit him before turning his lights out in spectacular fashion. Wilder left over Doohapass folded Robert H in half.
