Scientifically speaking, Ruiz is an example that the outside has no bearing on the conditioning of the fighter. Everybody is built differently, their bodies work in different ways, some people can carry the fat Ruiz has and not have any problems at all. Human body has many variables. We''ll see in the rematch what Ruiz comes in at. I think it worked perfectly for him after watching yesterday.. why change anything at all?????
Eddie Hearn: There was nothing wrong with Joshua in training, behind the scenes... he showed up as always... and he got beat by the better man. This content is protected People trying to make the excuse that Joshua was "flat"
Aj fought one of the dumbest fights for a so called elite fighter that i think I've ever seen. First hes dwarfs ruiz in the ring and is getting backed up by the much smaller man. He did not use his jab and reach to control the smaller man. He should have done this and followed up with a right hand but he rarely did. Then he brawls instead of smart boxing and trying to break his man down. This was reminiscent of froch-bute another fight when the moment was too big for the fighter and he just froze up like a deer in the head lights and melted down in grand fashion. It was bizarre to watch. With that said im not taking anything away from ruiz he had a great gameplan and executed it. It's also great to see the first Mexican- American HW champ.
Trying too much to make a statement I think. I have a feeling this is why AJ’s dad was having a go at Hearn because of all the talk of “AJ needs to go out there and look great for the US audience”, AJ was saying “it was me”. Like you say, boxed a poor fight.
