You are banking on Maidana walking straight through Khan's sharp, quick combinations. Maidana's chin isn't great you know. Not bad, but not that great at all. Khan also has a very heavy jab.

Khan has no where near the power of Ortiz....He stopped Paulie after accumulation of punches...Khan has average power at best for a 140 fighter...I got Khan by UD--skill and speed will outpoint Maidana...

People think this is speed vs power. IMO its more Speed, Power, Skill vs Power.

I thought my ****in eyes were goin funny, whats with the stupid baby blue?

Im predicting Maidana by KO, im sure Khan will have him on the backfoot plenty with his speedy jabs and combos and will win rounds comftably but i just cant Maidana not getting through at some point and it wont go to points.

But then alot of people are picking Khan cuz Khan SHOULD win.

Maidana is going to show Khan zero respect. None. Khan is going to try and throw his McFlurries and run. But will it work?

And who has ever KTFO Paulie? Miguel Cotto who is a big puncher for a WW had to do it via accumulation too, so did Hatton.

Khan is explosive and he has always demonstrated knockout power when he plants his feet. Just watch Salita KO.

You're wrong. Sorry mate, but you just don't have the ability to analyse boxing the way your friend Rakim does.

Paulie didnt get KTFO, he got stopped on his feet, coherent, and smoger stopped it after Paulie wasn't doing anything...Khan has never demonstrated one punch KO power on world class level....Salita is not World Class

Khan w/Roach doesn't sit down on his punches like he used(that was what lead to the Prescott KO)......He utilizes his jab and speed more, while focusing on defense....Unless he breaks down Maidana, I see a Khan decision win...

I hope your right. The whole thing lands on IF but if he does do it he will prove his chin may be what it is but hes good enough to rise to the top with it.

Yep. Khan isn't exactly feather-fisted, he might not have Maidana's power in terms of being sheer heavy handed, but he finds speed, angles and accuracy in his punches and he's going to be doing damage to Maidana, no doubt. He was busting up Malignaggi pretty bad, I can't see Maidana taking that sort of punishment.

Of course, if Maidana starts landing his best punches, he has the power to knock Amir out. But the chances of him landing those punches before taking a halestorm of heavy jabs, right hands and left-hooks beforehand is slim in my opinion. Roach has prepared Khan perfectly for the last 2 years for fights like this.

Maidana is a sluggish brawler in comparison looking to land his power punches and looking for the knockout. Khan is the guy with the speed, skills, punch accuracy, footwork and combinations. It's like Margarito v Pacquiao in that regard.

And I think Roach will have him in a similar set-up to Manny's approach to that fight. He's got Khan now sticking behind good fundamentals, i.e. a tight guard and a good, solid jab. And he's have him circling Maidana in the centre of the ring picking him off. Maidana will struggle with Amir's side-to-side movement and won't be able to set himself to get his punches off, while Amir's providing him with angles to deal with in the process.
