Understandable you will be a bit nervous, especially if it is your first fight. Not to worry though, after a couple punches taken you'll forget about the people watching and your attention will be on the other guy in the ring---and I don't mean the ref.

Try to not be too anxious, if you can. That only serves to tire you more easily being tense. Warm up a bit before going in, it will help you focus on the task at hand and keep you loose.

    Good luck.

My suggestion, try not to think of it like a fight and more like a hard spar. People get caught up in thinking "fight" and when they go out they are super nervous and they gas out really quick, along with forgetting technique. However everbody is nervous when they go out to compete, ask any pro and they will tell you they still get a little nervous. Once you get in the ring and get settled you will be completely oblivious to the crowd and other distractions. Good luck with your fight and try to have fun.

one of my sparring partners chickened out. he made weigh in but he missed the fight. the first couple of fights will be the hardest ones on the nerves. after time, you learn to cope with the reality of the real deal coming around the corner. suck it up big boy.

First off listen to some RnB music, something slow while getting your hands wrapped and such. Then when you're getting ready to warm up that's when you cut on the hype music, don't focus on what that guy is going to do; focus on you

AS long as your fitness is good then don't worry about been nervous, you can use that energy in the ring, use that energy in the first round to have a high work rate, keep things simple and concentrate on your fundamentals, once you get a good first round you will start to relax.

Your first fight is all about the experience.

That's very important you do so, if you're heart rate is going through the roof you will fatigue a lot faster

Just try to chill out anyway you can. Keep in mind that the other guy is just as nervouse as you are, if not even more.
