Miranda is my third favorite fighter in the world... but he doesnt beat pavlik at any weight at any time up till this point.

He simply cant get out of the way of the right hand.... all a higher weight will do imo is prolong his beating.

He needs to learn how to use his good jab a bit better, and how to fight effectively backing up if he wants to beat pavlik.

Miranda reminds of the version of Tyson past his prime who could still look ferocious against Savarese or a scared Bruno, which led people to believe he would wipe the ring with Holyfield. Miranda will always look spectacular with a fighter of Banks' caliber, but this doesn't mean anything when he fights someone like Pavlik. Kelly is more consistent with his punches and much more capable of enforcing his gameplan. Miranda is a good contender but will never be more than that, Pavlik IMO has a chance to become an ATG.

Against the great David Banks, who by all reports outboxed him for the first two rounds.

Exactly..until the KO he fought like old people ****..slow..and sloppy:-( At 168 Miranda would be dragged out to the woodshed for another grade A beatdown and a bobblehead impression..it would probably mirror the first beatdown only ending sooner the next time...****ing kid cant box for ****:-(

The point here is that Kelly Pavlik is a long muscled, fluid boxer-puncher who can keep stiff Pantera backin up and with no chance to counter - since Miranda also doesn't beat him to the punch to be first and to dictate the pace, he would always have a puncher's chance against a fighter like Pavlik, nothing more, nothing less...

Logic flawed. Pavlik like Miraranda is drained at MW. He will be stronger at SMW. He Ko's Miranda in another great fight. I want to see it.

Thats very typical of people. They see a fighter knocking B and C level guys out and think they will do the same to A level guys. Tito destroyed Joppy and everybody though he would do the same to Bernard.

    Because Miranda was weight drained?

And put your hat on the right way. What do you think you're black or something?

Its like saying Hatton would **** Floyd at 140 because 147 is too big for him. Weight drained or not he virtually lost every ****ing round to Pavlik, it wasnt even competitive.
