I'm sorry, but at 168 lbs Miranda destroys Pavlik

It's funny how people's beliefs change. Before Miranda fought Pavlik most people here thought Miranda would win. Granted, Pavlik surprised many people and pulled off two big upsets, but he still has his flaws. Taylor put him down and other refs might have stopped the fight he was hurt so badly. I give him all the credit in the world for getting up and finishing the fight. But there is no way in the world Taylor has power like Pantera. It is obvious Miranda did not have the power behind his punch that night in Memphis when they fought. Pavlik may have a chin, but that shot that put Banks through the ropes would have put Kelly on his ass too. If they ever fight again, which would be one hell of a war, I think many of your are going to be surprised. I am not saying Miranda will win, but this time Pavlik will hit the floor at least once. FOTY type stuff.

 

taylor is better than miranda fool, miranda isn't good enough to be taylors sisters sparring partner.

The fight would be much better, but the fact is Edison would have to make some adjustments. I don't think Pavlik hit's harder than Miranda by a longshot, but he keeps the punches coming. Edison can hit Kelly and he could possibly knoick him out. His objective would be not to be bullied and to just fight his fight. Miranda is one dimensional, and you know what you gonna get from him. Kelly will try to stop him from being a beast. Edison has to meet him head on and believe in his power. Kelly's a more skilled fight, though, so this could all be moot.

 

Knocking Banks out doesn't prove anything. Miranda landed bombs like that on Pavlik during the first few rounds and never once did Pavlik even become dazed.

Pavlik would rock him again.

 

Why? Because Pavlik has a granite chin? Oh, no that can't be cause Taylor put him on ***** street. Oh, that's right, Pantera was drained and had no power.

It is very very simple.

Miranda power > Taylor Power

Miranda could not hurt Pavlik.
Taylor came close to stopping Pavlik.

Wait untill a good fighter has Miranda on his heels again. Miranda will do better against Pavlik next time, but if Jermaine doesn't win the rematch look for Pavlik Ko 8 Miranda at 168.

 

Edison needs to get a better win than Banks b4 even thinking about a rematch with Pav.

 

And dont get me wrong. I am not saying Edison beats Pavlik at 168lbs. It would be a war and a very tough fight for Pantera to pull out.

My only point is, Pavlik would go down if Miranda hit him flush at 100%. No way you can argue that point.

Absolutely. He has not come close to earning a rematch. Plus Pavlik will stay at 160lbs for some time win or lose against Taylor. But one day, 1-2 years down the road, Id like to see it happen.
