And he didn't run against Mosley that tale is growing taller and taller as time passes. He was never seriously hurt against Mosley and even when he was backpedaling he was still landing the cleaner more effective punches. Granted he did more surviving than anything against Pac I would give you that, but against Clottey he was forced to box off his back foot and backpedal because he couldn't see great out of his left eye and despite that he was able to win the later rounds. Against Margo his plan from the onset of the fight was to box and move and he did that beautifully for the first 6 rounds. He tired and was worn down late. He was never running.

 

People in this forum don't understand the reason for making adjustments in this fight, nor do them mu****as appreciate a fighter with the ability to do so. They should all be UFC fans and just like a one demonsional fighters who can't do **** other that what he is programmed to do.

 

It's amazing. You lose two fights and not only are your accomplishments overrated, but your talent level is also overrated, and your now a ***** who runs.

And against Clottey he was outgunned in those last rounds. He was given those rounds. No way he should have won those rounds by running like a ****in chicken as he was getting oulanded. Clottey outlanded him, landed the cleaner shots, landed way more power shots, and was the aggressor in the last 4 rounds. How does that make Cotto the winner of the rounds?

His critics will be the first ones to jump on him if he loses. Sadly even after he beats Mosley(most likely he will) critics will say, "Oh Shane's old I'd like to see him face Pacquiao" then if he beats Pac they will say, "Well Pac was smaller, Abraham would demolish Floyd".:-(

yea there were two idiots on here I was debating with a couple a weeks ago about that ****. These idiots on here have the shortest memory and just don't understand the sport of boxing period.

 

He fought back against Pac but as soon as he got hurt he ran. Then when his head cleared up he would engage then get beat-up then ran. Rinse & repeat.

 

I really have no problem with the way Cotto fought aginst Pac. And I was actually betting with him and rooting for him. I lost, but I'm not entirely disappointed in his effort. He went ou like a champ in that fight.:good


I just think he let his ego get the best of him. He should have been more patient.

 

I agree that Clottey should have won but cotto still showed heart in that fight my dude. He still toughed it out with a bad cut and a ugly black as **** tough mu****a in front of him. You have to throw some **** at your boy clottey for acting like a ****head and taking his foot off of the gas when cotto was a sitting duck. clottey has no one to blame but himself. He is just like winky in the winky vs taylor fight. Winky would have won if he didn't act like a ****** and stop fighting. If you want to question some warrior spirit, question clottey because he don't know how to finish fights like a warrior.

 

I'm a Cotto fan imagine how I felt watching that fight and the Margarito fight:-(. I love Cotto and hope he retires with his health.
