I'm sorry but Felix Trinidad = one the most overrated fighters in recent history.

Felix Trinidad kept boxing relevant in the late 90s and early 00s. If it wasnt for his exciting championship fights, I doubt boxing would have survived during that time. Remember, Tyson and Holyfield weren't the same fighters they used to be. DLH quit boxing for a singing career. Boxing would have sucked during that time if it wasnt for Trinidad.

Oscar easily outboxed Tito. Hopkins showed that Tito had fixed wraps.

He had tonnes of heart , didnt duck anyone and at welter he was a terrifying puncher.

However he was a bit one dimensional , and he had no business moving up in weight because if the opponent could live with his power or was able to defend against it ( ala Hopkins or Winky ) he was sunk.

Plus running of into retirement after being skelped by Hopkins doesn't do his legacy any favours.

All that said tho , Head 2 Head at 147 pounds he is up there as one of the best.

Yep yep, and you gotta consider that he's a small to mid sized guy. That KO percentage, even as a big man, is not common.

You didn't say one of the best. You said ''one of the best welterweights ever'':patsch So that's implying that he could be in the/your top 10 of the all time best welterweights the world has ever known. Please.

That was one great dimension though. And he was KO'd once in over 40 fights, it was more **** balance than a bad chin.

Im guessing your counting the Jones fight to?

He beat prime campas, carr, vargas, reid, joppy and De la hoya as well as a faded whitaker and Mayorga back when he was a beast.

Hmm this thread is not about travelling, risking records, and fighting opponents when they were a beast (he was ko'd by that beast).
It's about Trinidad being overrated based on his in-ring abilities.
So stop crying and screeming. Jesus f*cking Christ:lol: You look like hysterical baby:rofl:lol:
