    threads/comments like these are useless.

without having the years of foundation laid by guys like pep and many other greats....jmm, morales and barrera would not be the stars they were/are.

I think you're just a racist who wants to downplay the accomplishments of a white boxer while getting a hard-on for your Mexican "warriors".

Marquez will never be the best. Morales is a quitter. Barrera is a record padding hypejob.

    JMM would have beaten him

MAB and Morales would have geven him fits, but i reckon The Wisp would have prevailed

  7. Everybody is getting sick of your threads every hour that usually have something to do with how good Mexicans are or how somebody who is not Mexican is not that good. **** you.

of course they beat pep

  9. Not to mention how chavez padded his record with nobodies for 80 fights. Chavez jr and Canelo carried in with the tradition, both waited 40 fights before fighting a decent fighter. Tzsyu started with real fighters right away and then beat the **** out of Chavez. Chavez is the most hyped fighter ever. Mexican fans don't even give a **** if their fighters ever really fight anyone, explains why they just sit around and pad their records.

This should be an answer on any thread like this. Like one active recently - Joe Frazier vs David Haye.. David Haye wouldnt know what is bob n weave without Joe Frazier :)

Ok, this is not so true statement, but without all these greats in past we wouldn`t have boxing like it is today, so threads like this are ******ed, thats my opinion.

And of course its normal that some top5 boxer today would won against some great in past, sport evolved ffs. It would be strange otherwise.

So what? Boxing evolves over time. Pioneers are meant to get copied and technique refined.

I agree that fantasy matchups are overrated but I don't deny that the topics help keep the sport interesting.

and this forum is going to ****. First avatars, then quick replies, now I can't even quote properly without having to do it manually

Yeah, those darned Featherweights back in Willie's days were only like what.. 125 lbs? Featherweights today are on average about 25 lbs heavier and 6 inches taller. One has to wonder if they'll ever make a new weight division to accommodate the bigger Featherweights of today.
