Are you kidding me man? Come on. This win was a major boost to his legacy. 12th round or not.

Give the man his credit, he took Chavez to school and I was pro-Chavez whole way. Even put $100 on it.

Chavez would have won if he had a baseball bat, but he never so who cares.

Just stop. He won 11/12 rounds. 1 little slip up means nothing.

Nah, he survived the storm and banked in 10-11 rounds prior to the 12th. He deserves that victory. No taint to it.

I disagree, Jr had him hurt early in the round, and there was more than enough time to finish him off.

Not as tainted as Chavez's win would have been should Martinez not have survived

And what if he did anything even resembling a clinch? He dared that mother****er to put him out of his misery.

On the contrary. Schooling Chavez and overcoming that 12th round was epic.

Having said that, Martinez talked a lot of **** prior to that fight that he did not back up.

Agreed. Not only did he have plenty of time, Martinez was foolishly cooperating with stupid tactics and JCC still couldn't finish him. He had his chances.
