Oh totally. I only used coward to help emphasize the bravado Martinez put on display by slugging it out when he was badly hurt. It would have been smart to clinch and just survive. You and I wouldn't have criticized him for it, but thats because we can look at it rationally. Had he clinched and just held on to survive, he would have received tons of flak from detractors.

Both dudes can hold their heads high. Chavez for showing that old school Mexican heart, and Martinez for putting on a clinic and going out on his shield.

That 12th rd brought me peace. I still get to laugh at the Martinez fans for how silly Martinez looked, getting rocked, dropped and hanging on for dear life. Poor Sergio fans :rofl

Why are you acting like such a ***? He got caught. It wasn't cause he slipped, tripped or saw your fat ass mother waving her panties at him in the crowd and got distracted. Chavez threw the right hand and it landed, end of story.

^ You blind. Totally ****ing blind.

Chavez out Sergio down with a double LEft, not a right. Those rights he was landing earlier didn't phase Martinez at all.

Once again, since you seem unable to comprehend:

1: Chavez throws a weak right, which connects but does no damage.

2: Sergio plants his left foot and throws a right at Chavez. (Chavez is just out of range)

3: The left foot that Sergio just planted slips, or buckles slightly. His head falls forward and he drops his rt guard.

4: Chavez manages to land two quick left hooks, which puts Martinez down.

5: Martinez almost immediately gets up, (ready to go at the count of six) and proceeds to batter Chavez until the bell.

I'm sorry that YDSAB, but this is exactly what happened.

And we got to laugh at the career-shortening beating Chavez absorbed for 11 rounds.

Sergio was fully recovered at the end of the round, never looked to hold, and never stopped throwing punches. Admittedly he was totally gassed and got caught, but he ****ed the other guy up the whole fight. Great win.

Haha what if this and what if that. Hello! Chavez got taken to school for 11.5 rounds In fact It was maybe a little too easy for Martinez and he clearly got carried away in the 12th. It was still a shut out. Martinez would do the same again if there was a rematch, which I don't think Chavez deserves. He looked like he was walking in quick sand all night, and looked like he was trying to swing big concrete blocks around, I mean how slow was he?? wow!

The fight duration is set, and it isn't his fault Chavez wasn't able to win within that time.
