    Wrong. Hand-speed is easily nullified.

Calzaghe is a sack of ****.

Just as Joe is at a massive disadvantage in terms of timing and accuracy.

Doesnt matter...if the fight happens on the outside, its Joe's to lose...on the inside, its Bernard's to win.

Do you think if Calzaghe threw 600 punchs a fight he would be at massive accuracy and timing disadvantges?

    Astute observation.

Hopkins WILL use this tactic, but it wont really have an affect on Joe.

Many times, and ever since he beat Lacy, his 'reputation' has gotten out of control to the point where you would think he had just bested Ray Robinson.

Everyone who sees JC sees weaknesses and flaws and all kinds of stuff. But when the get in the ring with him, he's too fast, too strong, too well conditioned, doesn't tire, doesn't slow down, doesn't stop throwing punches and quite fankly, doesn't give a damn what the guy in front of him is thinking.

what by being top 4 p4p and the best super middle of all time if you don't count jones juniro as a middleweight. What is unrealistic about any of that, and how is he a sack of ****:huh

Ray was no where near his best at 160 and Calzaghe is much the bigger man, Ray lost to far inferior fighters than Calzaghe at MW.

At MW I would pick: Hopkins, Jones and Monzon over Robinson.

Above 160 there are many, at 154 and below there are no fighters who I would favour over Ray.

Try some analysis as opposed to name picking, Geoff old chap :good

Joe Calzaghe's perceived weaknesses are his strengths. Because of the risks he takes it allows him to do what others fighters can't.

No, because that is not his strength. He is not a very accurate puncher..and doesnt have great timing...which is why he throws in bunches. Not a knock on him...just the way it is.
