Idk, I might actually favor Pacquiao at this point. But I like Crawford's chances.

I think Pacquiao can win if he's motivated.

    But that's a big "if".

I don't question much about his ability and enduring talent, but without hunger or drive Crawford is risky territory.

If you think Jean is a more difficult opponent for Crawford than Pac then I completely understand why you have such a interesting perspective about a potential fight between TC and PAC.

Manny has a very underrated defensive game....just take his stats of punches landed on him against guys like Floyd and JMM...Floyd landed at an all time low against Pac, under 33%....Floyd typically lands at a much higher connect percentage. Crawford is a very good counter puncher but against guys who are much slower and are far less active.

The problem in facing a very unorthodox style in what Pac brings to the ring is that typical counter punching doesn't work as well, coupled with speed, explosiveness and superior power leads me to believe Crawford is not in a position to really pose the kind of threat that would see him beating Manny....even at this stage of Manny's career.

I like Terrance a lot but am not disillusioned about his capabilities against guys like Manny or Floyd who are operating with superior talents and skill sets very few have in the sweet science.

pac's speed and explosiveness has been missing for a while now...he had moments in the floyd and marquez fights but was quckly neutralized by the jab and counterpunching by both men...even bradley gave him all he could handle in those two fights. i think crawford is far better than bradley ever was. to tell the truth, pac hasn't looked great in a fight since the hatton KO 6, 7 years ago....and that was a gimme because hatton fought like an fool that night.next to that, pac's last great performance was against cotto, but wasn't cotto weight drained?....nah, pac is living on memories now. he's not the fighter he once was, and, in fact, he hasn't been that guy for many years now...i actually wonder if he ever WAS that guy really...i mean, jmm clearly won the last three fights, at least imo. and pac was clearly hiding PED use by refusing to be tested all those years....besides crawford is not david diaz or an emotionally traumatized hatton or a weight-drained cotto or an old shane. crawford is a young tiger with taltent equal to pac's....like i said, styles make fights and a pac fight would be easier than the jean fight for bud.

Tim never was in either of those fights with Pac. He was given a gift in the 1st fight and was completely controlled and dominated in the rematch. I'm still in a state of confusion from the few who claim Tim actually deserved the "win" over Pac in their initial meeting but it comes with the territory being at the level Manny is at.

Pac definitely Is not as fast or explosive as he was in his prime but he had moments where he flashed his speed and explosiveness of old....it's just no longer as consistent. And his performances over the last few years prove that much.

Cotto wasn't weight drained at 145 knowing his history. He came in at 146 for his fight months earlier with Josh, but it was an easy excuse to latch on to for fans of Cotto and haters of Manny to discredit the win. The sheer domination over Cotto was a lot to accept but it was a magnificent performance that Manny gets a ton of credit for in retrospect.

JMM and Pac always had extremely close fights aside from the 4th fight which Pac was pretty much dominating outside of the KD and highlight reel knockout that shocked the world. I mean.......even though JMM got the win in dramatic fashion it was Juan who was busted up, battered and broken before landing that perfect counter punch at the end of the 6th.

Pac could have been on PEDs....however it was never proven nor was there any smoking gun linking Floyd’s accusations to the "truth"....if you really give Floyd’s rumors any credence about Manny being dirty?

Floyd’s recent heat with the positive urine samples and retrospective IV administration of fluids is a lot more damning than Floyd’s opinion about Pac he never could prove after all these years.

Crawford is a young lion......and styles do make fights. Only this fight isn't in the jungle where a lion is King. .....it would be a fight in the ocean where Pac is a Great White and Terrance, although a young lion is in the kingdom of a old but still capable shark.
