What do you mean what? You still didn't answer my question, who has take (fighters) their own promoters to court more times De la hoya? or King? It's not a hard question.

Marquez was asked if he was okay with changing the contract so Floyd could come in 2 pounds over. He said it was fine. Nothing to stand up for. He got a huge payday and gained a lot of respect for attempting what he did.

No one forced Marquez to continue with the fight. He could have said no, Floyd needs to sweat it out, and Floyd would have, because he needed the fight too. But he said okay. He's a grown man and he made a choice. It hasn't got **** to do with GBP.

JMM might not have been "ruined" physically but mentally that loss is devastating to him... He called out Floyd thinking that he has the tools to give Floyd troubles in a fair fight... Alas, his promoters didn't even make a move to make it a fair fight and then he can do nothing on Floyd in the actual fight...

It's very disappointing and frustrating for someone to run after an opponent that he thinks he can beat and in reality he has nothing... But props to Juan Manuel, he fought like a true warrior, full of hearts and guts but sadly it was not enough...

JMM might be thinking right now that he got carried away and become a bit ambitious...

marquez had no other choice....i believe the NSAC on this, where they changed the contracts wednesday night, just because mayweather wanted it....oscar could have embarrassed floyd on the scales, but he didnt...past is past though.....

its called conflict of interest when you could embarass the guy or lose millions in future fights. comes' with the territory when your own stable can't sell sh*t.

It just shows to me that oscar is a complete sell-out, not just the weigh-in incident, but the whole set-up for marquez-mayeather....looking back on it floyd was going to look good against marquez at anyweight.....at the beginning gbp could have forced the matter had a reasonable contract and held floyd accountable....

Now before this, was the houston fiasco with juan diaz and paulie....yes we all know about gale van hoy and the bull**** cards....but what a lot of people forget is paulie approved of one judge from las vegas, a neutral judge a week or 2 before the fight....as soon as schafer got wind of this.....raul caiz(mexican-american) judge replaces this judge paulie approved......it would be like if paulie got an italian judge....

the past month golden boy promotions have really F'D Up Bad IMO.....

it seems like boxing is like 99 percent background politics 1 percent fair exciting cards these days.

There's a lot of stuff that doesn't get reported. My friend is interning for the NSAC when it comes to inspections. He's a former amateur boxer and he's worked a few fights. Basically he'll be inspecting fighter's gloves and stuff. There's always been a lot of shady stuff behind the scenes even till today. Not going to stop anytime soon.

I still think Las Vegas is the prime place to fight. But even Las Vegas can be bought as long as it brings in money. Bottom line..money talks

Yes, they recalled the contract and Marquez signed the new one after he said it was OK. He could have elected not to resign the contract and the fight would have either been called off, with Floyd on the hook for a lawsuit, or Floyd would have been forced to sweat the weight off.

Again, at no point do any of the official stories indicate that Marquez was tricked. He knew exactly what was happening. He HAD to, his name was required on the revised contract.
