I'm starting to think Gassiev-Pulev is not going to happen.

    Not on Boxrec yet, not on the WBA's website. Starting to thing this is another that is not going to come off.

    I really hope it happens, but following Gassiev's career you get used to unfulfilled fights and disappointments. On the plus side he is only 32 (same age as me!), so there is so much potential if he can fight meaningful opposition consistently, but I wait with baited breath.

    IBA fights are often not listed on boxrec. So I wouldn't worry.

    The Usyk detractors will be crying lmfao.

    Pulev is a bit of a big deal still in Bulgaria isn't he?
    He clearly can dictate terms which is crazy for someone of his age and ability

    Usyk v Gassiev rematch? Would be historic as the only time ever 2 guys first fought each other for the undisputed cruiserweight title an then the next time they met was for the undisputed heavyweight title

    He looked as good as he has in the Linquiqst fight as he has since before Usyk, ripping that hook to the body with impunity.

    In most of his heavyweight fights, he didn't, perhaps couldn't use it, and against Wallin, it looked half speed. Against Milton, it was absent again, if I recall.

    I am hoping he steps in that ring healthy and ready with the automatic hook!
