I'm starting to think Groves / Booth may have got their timing spot on!!!

    i'm unsure on this one.. the one thing that makes me wonder is booth would not let groves fight froch if he didn't think he can win.. hmmmm what does he see

    Perhaps I was a little quick to dismiss it.

    But certainly Groves stung Johnson a lot earlier than Froch did which I think added to the overall effect.

    But I will admit on reflection that Johnson probably didn't show as much ambition.

    i remember booth saying it was scary how confident he was about haye doing a job on wlad, that one really went to plan didn't it. froch will walk thru groves and stop him in the middle rds imo

    Booth may have a great plan and may have identified weakness in Froch' style but ultimately he's not in the ring and it comes down to Groves to carry out the plan which I just don't think he will do at this stage of his career. When he gets tagged he fries back and so does Froch so this truly could be an exciting fight while it lasts.

    Froch late stoppage is the sensible bet though, I'd say round 8-11 some time.

    these two are well up my list of top five British boxers...?Time waits for no man sneaking suspicion that the improving Groves wins.......my only consolation in a Froch defeat would be that it was Groves who won.......Hey! But 50/50 fight can't wait one ppv? I won't moan about(too much).

    Regardless of opinions on the outcome of the fight, ladbrokes have The Saint 9/1 to win by decision - overpriced in my opinion and wont last long.

    Would get on it quick if you think Groves can win a decision cos I doubt it will be that price for long!

    Are you kidding me the difference was immense,Glenn had absolutely nothing left in the tank when he fought Groves he was on the back of three straight losses aswell and was clearly just there for the pay day.

    The Glenn Johnson that fought Froch was challenging for the super six,was still game and had alot to prove.

    Go watch the fights you idiot.

    Its true what they say about old fighters,they age overnight.Johnson is completely shot at this stage in his career and George Groves beating him was the icing on the cake.
