When Carl made that comment about standing and fighting I was thinking that Groves could do this

Seriously, what is wrong with froch. Why say such a thing. I think the fight with Andre Ward must still haunt him, although Ward didnt even run

True many have folded but this is two levels above anything he's faced before.

Groves dropped in sparring by a body shot and Sierra hurt him to body also could be a potential weak point in this fight with Carl. Groves will have to produce a extremely diciplined and well executed plan.

He will land on Carl but if Carl takes his ammo he's in for a world of hurt.

That is pretty much what happened with Bute.

I see this fight going a similar way.

I'm not sure his chin is overrated I dont think it's even questionable when else has be been down? when has it let him down ever?

They can all hurt each other but Froch takes them better than most I've seen and seems to enjoy it.

If you keep hitting the same area in a wall eventually it will developer a crack/weakness. Chisora had a granite chin look what haye done. A chin is bone and bone can break

trying telling that to the likes of Mcall and Wayne Mcullogh (sorry i cant spell his name) Carl defence has improved a bit over the years he doesnt take as many as he used to and when someone lands big on him his chin holds up and his powers of recovery are boderline insane. Every time he landed the right hand on Kessler he hurt him and Geroge hasnt been in with anyone who hits as hard as Carl....Geroge has to box sensibly in this one and I just dont think Froch will give him to time to collecet himself

I did. Seriously, Groves will beat Froch, and I am a massive fan of the latter. The Londoers speed, footwork, power, ability to box and move will trouble Froch who may struggle to find the motivation for this one.

Interesting how mixed the crowd will be if it lands in London?

Also, as the two gaylords facing off above, drop us out. This was a wicked thread until you both threw your toys out of the pram.

I don't disrespect Froch but he has become so high on his toughness and hardman mentality. His fight with Kessler was highly reckless and it was a slug fest. To my eyes he has started to go backwards as a fighter and one thing I do know about Groves who is technically very good is that he can box to the game plan Booth gives him. Groves is a boxer puncher.

Exactly which is the crucial point and I am certain Groves will land flush and Froch's lights out.

Since when has Froch had a problem getting motivated? he is defending 2 belts, there's no reason to believe that so no Idea where you are getting that from.

I understand people have opinions but they are usually based on something! :huh
