I think he has the goods. Vic is under appreciated. his experience is off the charts. Styles makes fights, and Del Valle looked terrible against Vics but I think against really good conventional/orthodox fighters, Del Valle will shine. Just mark my words. People are shrugging him off now but I disagree with you all.

Sorry, but I see nothing special in that puerto-rock's future. He's has heart, I'll give him that, but that'll only get him so far.

The kid was game last night but was just in too deep against Vic, who looked the best he has for a while now.

I'm sure he made alot of new fans last night despite losing.

What is this BS styles makes fight excuse? All good fighters make adjustments and while styles may lose a fight, that was domination last night by a faded, shot Darchinyan. I didn't see any adjustments from Del Valle. If that was the old Vic, Del Valle would have been sleeping in the middle rounds.

I guess Pacquiao sucks for not ad****** g to JMM style?

    Shane vs Winky x2?

    Forrest vs Mayorga x2?

    What sport do you watch?

Vic is STILL GAME. Hes is definitely past it, but not shot. **** like this happens in boxing, especially against an ultra unorthodox fighter like Vic, who has some devastating power.

When Del Valle fights a really good, orthodox type style, people will bet against him and they will lose a lot of money.

I agree. He probably just stepped up a little too far in class this time. Vic has more left than a lot of people thought.

Del Valle can still be a top guy, I think. The way he reacts to this loss will tell a lot.

Its hard to say, I for one would not count him out to make for some good fights. It was too much, too soon. They thought Vic was done, and he had looked that way. He turned back the clock last night and he looked pretty damn good.
It was a risk by his people to take this fight so early in his career, but he really doesn't lose anything for it. Either he beats Vic and he propels his career, or he loses and doesn't lose much in doing so.
He basically just got a lesson from one of the dirtiest fighters around, so hopefully he picked up a few new tricks himself for the future. He just had no answer for the left hand, head butt combination he was constantly getting tagged with.

He needs top go back to the drawing board. Molitor would be a decent next fight for the little ****.
