So the numerous extra moves he made after the punch were the things that made you suspicious the most? Would you have been less suspicious if he just looked at the ref for that split second, covered his face, squinted his eyes, slowly crumpled to the canvas and just stayed there lying, all dizzy and in pain.. Scrap the convulsions.
Anything other than the regular "falling all over the place, struggling to stand up" TKO or the true KTFO knockout would be kinda suspicious in your opinion?
Considering Campbell was losing his fight... tell me how that makes sense. Im jumping a few steps here...but hopefully you'll catch the contradiction.
I actually thought of the exact thing, the first time I saw it, real time. But I kinda changed my mind during the slowmo replay, interview portion and after that. He just seemed not right to me. Plus the shock your body suffers from a hard, unexpected blow to the temple/ear/cheek area can do some funny stuff to you. The things that happened to him on the canvas, I was not 100% sold. But seeing the interview and the replay, I had second thoughts. He just looked like a total mess. He was acting kinda like a lost 5 year old kid. Weird.
Takes a despicable human being to fake a serious injury like that. I hope you hold him in contempt from now on, Eze.
If you watch it. You can clearly see he grabbed his nose and said "Ah ****" and then collapsed, then went into convulsions. I've seen people get KTFO before, delayed reactions like that are actually somewhat common. You reach a point of punch drunk and then you're body follows with it. It seemed to me that the punch ****ed him up and when he collapsed on his head it worsened the injury. Sending his already frail mind into shock and thus we have a concussion.
The avatar is Bute Miranda The thing is that i don't believe he was out... because of the way he moves after the punch ...and the punch gaze him more from . After a ko like that simulated by Dirrell u wont be shouting and moving in the ring like he did ...and his gesture are theatrical. That is how it looks to me ... i might be wrong so i apologize if i am... but i doubt it
I almost wanted to say to him "Hey Andre, dont start crying like that in front of your hometown, man. It doesnt look cool." Like a child who's just about to throw a big tantrum. Or lost.
well, it took a total of 2 seconds from punch landing to him being flat on his back...and the punch came right from left (AA)...left to right (AD)...so AD moving to the right from the punch, then dropped back down to the left, because of how his legs were positioned, in a total of 2 seconds [and having the time to think about whether or not to fake things and try for a DQ in that time] seems a bit tin foil hat to me AND hands down, chin up, clean shot...i don't know what you are seeing
I dont think he faked it.Have watched it several times and it is a hard shot. The only reason people are saying he faked it is because Dirrel was getting caught a little more in rounds 10 and 11.Abraham was having his best spell of the fight.Had this took place 2 rounds earlier nobody would have said anything.Dirrel did well and made Abraham look very ordinary.I think its more likley Abraham fouled to get thrown out and avoid a defeat on points or late stoppage than Dirrel faking injury.
I share the sentiment. I think the people saying Dirrell acted are ****ing ******s, to be perfectly honest.
