Martinez will have his moments and i can see him taking some early rounds, but Williams will be too much in the late rounds.

Yes, and PW lost when he took on a southpaw with movement, not only that but Sergio lost in his 18th fight a decade ago, and PW lost 4 fights and 2 years ago. If anyone has improved since its Sergio.

I get it, you've been sucked in by the PW hype. I'm not saying it's going to be a schooling or anything I just think if you watch both of them fight it points to a Martinez UD and that's all. I have no motives so I'm not going to be able to argue it incessantly.

The exact samething can be said about you...Have you been sucked into the Martinez hype?

Judging by what give you that indication? I mean are you trying to say that Williams will be stationary like Alex Beanva (however you spell the guys last name) or Cintron? Like I said earlier, Martinez has a habbit of dropping his hands and that will get him hit at will by Williams who throws plenty of shots...dont get me wrong Martinez will have his time to shine in the fight but it will get over shadowed by Williams when he keeps on out working him to finish to end...I dont think Martinez will be able to keep up with the pace!

Martinez is very, very good - seen a fair bit of him over here. I worry the chance at the big time has come a little too late but (barring Nunn v Kalambay style freak blastout - which this reminds me of wierdly!) I think he has a shot.

Paul Williams is very UNDERrated in my opinion...I believe he hasnt yet shown his true greatness in the ring,Sergio is a very good fighter, but hes going to be easily beaten by the Punisher

Agree I am also choosing Martinez to win. This is not an upset, Martinez is a very skilled talented fighter hes no half retired Twinky. I think alot of Williams fans will realize that once the height and reach advantage Williams has over fighters is downplayed he will look like a normal figher I just dont think hes elite.

Williams has horrible accuracy even against guys standing flat footed in front of him. He can't hit Martinez "at will." PW probably has the lowest average connect rate of any world class fighter. However, I agree Sergio's low guard could decide the fight. It seems like the low guard combined with PW's work rate virtually guarantees the something big will land.

Bottom line is a great possible fight. No ducking, no dodging, no dancing (Ruiz) or hugging. This has the makings of a great fight!
