    cant you all see that?

green is an intelligent, articulate bloke. he didnt invite jones here just to get whipped......green sees something.

fools believe he sees dollar signs. thats just shallow thinking. green sees an opportunity. he sees a shot fighter, a shot legend.

i think danny is right. danny has a better than even chance of pulling this off. danny doesnt believe he will win on points.....

Win or lose, RJJ is still a legend! I cant say the same about Danny although he's given us some good fights over the years...

No doubt RJJ is a legend who's skills and boxing ability in his prime where far superior to Greenys but you shouldn't knock a guy like Danny who has made the most of his ability and is willing to try and get in there and mix it up with one of the best fighters of our era.

    Jones Lacy 2.

Mundine beat a fresher Green thatn Jones is facing, and he's chinnier than RJJ is.

I agree that Green did not bring RJJ out here just to lose to him for big $$$.

I believe he thinks he has a good chance of stopping RJJ, and I also think he does.

Everyone's been focussing on how good RJJ was/still is, etc.

Has anyone stopped to think just how hard Green will be training for this fight, how seriously he'll be taking it?

I can guarantee you that if anyone is going into this fight taking something for granted, it isn't Green.

Yeah, but Green is at a more comfortable weight now at LHW/CW than he was when he fought Mundine at SMW. He looked ****ing emaciated in that fight.

Not sure what the correct term is for a fighter who only chases a shot legend once he is passed his prime, has slowed down, lost his reflexes etc,but if mundine did it he would be bagged for ever.
Green seen rjj on the decline and watched his losses and realised that it would look good on his resume if he could beat him.
The fighter has faded, but the name lives on.
Same as when tyson started to fade, they were lining up to have a go.

Just replayed greens comments after the mundine fight.......
Ive got no excuses, says his sparring and preperation was excellent,i was just beaten by the better fighter on the night.
Mundine is quick and hard to tag,i could say i didnt do this right and i didnt do that, but mate ive got no excuses.
To say he looked emacaited in that fight is rubbish and you know it.
He was outboxed regardless of weight,he only won one round.:patsch

Green looked GREEN at the weigh in. His colour was off. His physique looked drained... almost gaunt or ill. Tszyu looked in the same dis-coloured state before the Hatton fight. Neither man made any serious complaints post bout. Good on them, they took the respective fights... regardless, they both looked drained at the weigh-ins.

sorry mate but no one except his fans are buying that green got into the ring, sick, ill, gaunt, drained etc etc for the biggest fight in his career against his greatest rival.
The common line at the weigh in was both boys were in top nick, great condition and physically both looked strong.
Yes i agree green loooks better at lhw,all us humans look better with a bit of beef on us,but until he beats someone at lhw thats not a tomato can or ready to retire we will never really know what weight he is best at until he is challenged at that weight for 12 rounds which is yet to happen.
