he will be after the Cotto fight. Tiger Woods made 75 million last year and Floyd would have made over 80 million from Sep-May

This has to be the weakest-assed excuse in the history of weak-assed excuses. How exactly did he "explain" why he deserves 100% of the ppv revenue with the underlined statement?? So your deal is "structured" a certain way, so he expects Pac to simply give in because of it? The Queen of England could only wish to be so entitled... And then he attempts to rationalize his position by saying he's the "highest paid athlete"? This dude's seriously deluded. Market value is the important measure here, not actual purse. If the other guy is doing similar ppv#s (actually better the past year) then that's how you gauge his negotiation leverage. Even Pacquiao (you know, that not-so sharpest knife in the drawer) knows this fundamental logic hence him laughing off Floyd's offer.

The only thing that made sense in that statement is when he said "I put myself first". Thats right *****s, he don't give a **** about what you nor I think. He don't give a **** that you think Pac is overmatched and would get outclassed. This fight is never getting made because Floyd thinks his health is in jeopardy and that he needs to be "rightfully" compensated for taking that risk. We all think that rightful compensation is around that 50/50 range or at least a couple of % pints off of it. But **** all what we think...it's Floyd's world and we just live in it (at least inside Floyd's twisted mindset).

Floyd making more money than any normal person could ever need is all good but his reputation is just getting shot to pieces.

Maybe he really doesn't care how he will be remembered.
