It is very difficult to hit him in the first place, and even if you do its nearly impossible to land flush shots because of how well he tucks his chin and hides it behind his shoulder. Hopkins isnt going to knock out Calzaghe either. Stop kidding yourself either. The fight is in Vegas, so the ref isn't going to call the fight just because Calzaghe throws a flurry of ineffective Sugar Ray Leonard style combinations - which I see as only a good thing, who wants the fight to be stopped prematurely?

-Bernard is NOT shot. He's throwing more punches than ever, with more power than ever, and he's still very intelligent and has decent reflexes. His coordination is still very good, he's very accurate. He even still has pretty good legs, he used them in fact to beat Winky, taking advantage of Winky's bad legs!

- Calzaghe is not naturally the bigger stronger man. People saying this are making more sense. Hopkins may have fought at 160 for many years, but he did this at a cost. He is much closer to a natural light heavyweight than a natural middleweight. He was only to make 160 lbs because he constantly stayed in shape between fights and ran a LOT. Hopkins is 6'1", Calzaghe is 5'11". Thats a 2" advantage for Hopkins. So please please please stop saying Calzaghe is bigger. Bernard also has a 2" reach advantage (though that doesn't really mean anything).

Umm, if you score a fight like your supposed to...and the fight plays out like you said it should...then Hopkins SHOULD win.

You said he will land the more telling blows and Joe will be busier....well, your not supposed to score a fight on aggression (the aggression has to be EFFECTIVE, not just high in number), the EMPHASIS on scoring a round is on CLEAN PUNCHING!

So by your prediction, Hopkins will get and will deserve the decision.

BTW, I am 100% sure that Bernard could win every round decisively and there will still be a HUGE number of Calzaghe fanatics on here that would call robbery. Its the nature of the beast.

Hell he could KO him and some of these idiots (not all of em...Im a Calzaghe fan...but there is a difference) would call robbery.
