I don't like the fact that he's a lazy fat ass ... he has personality and he seems to be slightly entertaining but he's a complete joke.

He's never going to be champion and he was one of those fat slobs that David Haye was always talking about.

Klitschko competely ruined him ... and tonight proved that ... He was getting hit too much against Minto who is complete **** himself ... nothing but a club fighter.

I can tell you guys his next step up ... rather it be against a legit contender or another world champion ... he's going to get ate the **** up.

He can't hang and he's not discipline enough to be a serious threat to anyone.

No ****, he throws a punch and juggles for 45 second. If that is the best Heavyweight we have to offer then we should ban heavyweight boxing in the States.

**** Arreola. I like him (Or used to) and everything but he clearly doesn't have the discipline nor care to stop. 263? What a joke. He just can't help it he gets "Hungry at 9 PM and loves the fast food." He's not even worth talking about after that awesome Williams vs Martinez fight.

He's not really lazy, but he does lack discipline. I think he could do better if he came in at a lower weight but it's only for his own good, so far he's been very entertaining and if he keeps giving us good competitive fights I don't think it really matters how much he weighs, the guy is one of the top HW and brings excitement to the division.

I don't care about his weight. Maybe he would be a better fighter but if he chooses to weigh that much, that's up to him. We can hate on a fighter fir those choices because he believes it's his best fighting weight. It's be cool if he looked like David Haye but would he be a better fighter? Maybe not.

Just respect that he's a heavyweight with a desire to fight. Thats enough for me. In an era of lazy heavyweights, at least Arreola isn't lazy inside the ring. What he doses outside if it, is no business of mine.

Arreola is the best American heavyweight.

You know it's bad when steward is talking about a super heavyweight division.....that would just ruin the prestige history of heavyweight boxing...

I like Cris as a person, but damn, get in shape...

Do we really need to be drawing the distinction? Either way, even his trainer talked about how he didn't want to train for the Vitali fight and he had to push to get him to work and that was very discouraging and irritating for him.

What is clear is he won't go anywhere being a 260+ pound fighter.

What's worse is that HBO seems to be content on pushing Arreola down our throats rather picking up fighters like Martinez.

It seems to me that Arreola is now content with being a 2nd tier fighter so that he can eat all he wants and be happy.

I know ... I think HBO should be pushing the HW division no matter what culture the fighter comes from. Arreola's whole "hook" is that he comes to fight and he never backs down ... thats the make up of an MMA fighter, not a boxer. There's a lot of things that go into boxing.

To the poster who said that he's not lazy ... the interviews and the evidence shows that he's lazy. His trainer has a hard time getting him to train properly and even an accomplished trainer like Emmanuel Steward said that he had to stop his HW's from over training not under training.

Arreola should be 225 max ... and I still think he would be soft around the mid section.

    He's not a real professional !!

I don't see why not, it's not the same thing. It's easy to call someone else lazy because they look fat, but I can assure it's not easy work training for a fight and Arreola brings excitement and hasn't really shown stamina problems which is why I think it's unfair to call him lazy. It takes a lot of work to get the conditioning he has, but he certainly is undisciplined with his diet.

Despite there being no weight limit ... he should still be in peak conditioning ... he doesn't know what that means.

I don't think he's fully prepared to go a full 12 and be fresh going into the late point of the fight ... the only reason why he showed some spirit against Klitschko was because he wasn't thrown any punches and Klitschko doesn't throw to the body.

Against a smaller HW ... like Haye, Chamber, or Povetkin ... he will get broken down. There's also a huge difference in skill.

If he can't beat Vitali, there's no real reason for him to chase a championship ... he's not going to get the WBC title (unless Vitali retires) ... and he's not going to beat Wlad for the same reason he couldn't beat Vitali.

The WBA title is in a musical chairs between 4 fighters ... (Haye, Valuev, Ruiz, and Chagaev)

I would like to see him fight Adamek and if he loses ... get the hell off HBO.

This doesn't make sense, a man shouldn't be allowed in the ring because he looks fat? :huh
