    Abner Mares
    A.J Banal
    Charlie Zelenoff

The list goes on...I really think in 3-5 years the big fight will be Khan-Gamboa.

You forgot Andrew Hartley.....the big fight in two years should be a Sweet Z/Hartley rematch.

But on a serious note I agree that in about 3 years time Khan/Gamboa will be a HUGE fight. That is of course if Khans chin doesn't fail him before then

Hartley/Sweet Z will be a big fight sure but...I mean you saw what happened to Montel Griffin in the rematch with RJJ right? Same deal.

Even if Khan loses, it'll still be a pretty big deal IMO. I think that's the fight that'll get a lot of hype below 140 lbs. BIG BIG amateur resumes, both have a lot of pride on the line, both are dynamic characters....should make for some amazing entertainment.

Well the making money off him part could be true but that's business, right?, and if he has the ability to attract fans then why not?
About him being a failure once he steps up how do you exactly know that?, the man is a silver medalist, you can't be a complete bum if you're able to achieve that and his skills at the olympics and ability to fight were talked about even by the casual fans and for good reason, he's an entertaining fighter and I believe that's something special and not everyone has. As far as fighting bums is concerned you can't really expect him to start off fighting the champion, can you?. The guy has had 14-15 professional fights only and the big fights are on their way now, so judging early fights is kind of rushing or even(excuse me for that) a sign of hate. Muhammad Ali didn't start off fighting champions, Mayweather didn't and Calzaghe didn't(probably started fighting decent opponents after 25 fights?)..etc

As far as the hype is concerned he can't really be blamed for it, they know he has the ability to attract viewers so they take advantage of that ability and make good money out of it, it's a part of the business side of this sport and a very important part as you know. I have faith in this guy as a fighter and a huge fan of his and I know deep inside that he can go far, you might think I'm being ridiculous as you are because only time will either prove you right or me wrong so let's wait till then. So far I haven't seen any signs of him being a horrible fighter or someone who won't go far but we'll see. :good

That's my point and an Olympic Silver medalist as well, you can't be scrub if you can accomplish all of that and be a major attract so early in your life. :good As a fan of his, lose or win my support will remain.

How do you KNOW he WILL fight the winner of Margo/Cotto. We all KNOW he has never fought a legitimate champ @147 while having all the chances in this world to do so. He's ducked all of them w/varied excuses...

There are about 150 people posting on this site at any time. Maybe half could tell you who these guys on the list are. Its lonely to be a boxing fan in the U.S. now and it ain't getting any better.
Boxing IS dying in the United States and its foolish to deny it.

A VERY CLEAR Majority of the "Boxing Is Dying" BS? Comes from the UFC/other forms of fighting CROWD.

Last I checked? Aint no PBF vs DLH numbers anywhere else:nono
100 + Years of HISTORY. Boxing is ingrained and will SUSTAIN:yep

The "Promotional" BS of its early demise to your arrival:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
Thats your mistake!! Just be your own and aim to market ALL AUDIENCES. Joke is on those dont C it. Mr. White bread, and Mr. Rogaine types:D

Boxing is looking very good these two past years. Despite what most people thinks, I still believe that PBF vs DLH was an intense fight, and somewhat good advocate for boxing.
