The latter bit, he isn't close to the showman PBF is. Unfortunately I think you're right about him being the future. Unless he is harboring a Khan-like glass jaw that somehow hasn't been exposed by now (by the likes of Ponce De Leon) his talented but obnoxious punk ass is here to stay for quite some time. :-(

Broners the future, better get used him, he'll be the face of boxing in a few years.

He's got everything it takes to be the next big thing- exciting style with KO power in both hands, youth on his side, great skillset and technically sound, big for his divison and the ability to move up in the future collecting titles along the way in diff classes, polarizing personality, charisma/gift of gab and wit, crossover appeal....dude has it all and he's a veyr skilled fighter who's been moved along nicely, expect to see him on PPV and on the p4p lists within a couple years.

Haters gonna have a terrible time watching his invitable rise to boxing superstardom and the upper echelon of the p4p lists.


Escobedo is a great test this Saturday and a dude that's bigger than him and has had success against top level champs in higher divisions. This is a real test and if Broner wins convicingly we know he's the real deal.
