depends what kind of look you are going for tbh

I use to be over 200ibs but looked **** now im down to 185 and look very good

being ripped always looks better then looking like a meatball

20ibs is a lot of weight how long you aiming for to get the 20ibs of?

You guys going on about size way too much.

Yes they appear roughly the same size , but when you have been getting punched by Welterweights your whole career then step up to face a MW (Not just any old MW but the best in the division) You will certainly feel the difference.

Really my "goal" is 175, then from there I'll evaluate and decide if I want to go lower. There wasn't a drastic difference, noticeable though, dropping from 197 to 185.

    It sure will.

I guess like muscle memory, there is almost like a punch resistance memory. Its going to be a different world in there, and his body wont have time to adjust to facing a bigger (weight division) fighter. A training camp wont prepare him for this. It will take ages to learn that.

When he tries to hold on, he will be overpowered
When he punches GGG it will have less effect
When he gets puched by GGG... Oh my.

When has moving up 2 weight categorys ever been a good idea without testing the waters first? Yes it been successful for some, but its not a smart move. Your body needs time to adjust.

Facing the top guy in the division and moving up 2 divisions is not smart, and we all know this
