I'm not sure he can fight at the top level anymore. And if he can't, Calzaghe is the worst guy for him to fight, because he throws so many punches and doesn't have the power to knockout Roy. If Roy stays on the ropes and gets a beating like Lacy at the age of 39 it will be very very bad. He may never be the same after. I hope that the fight ends in a middle rounds knockout, whoever wins.
**** it roy knows the risks and is gettin paid handsomely,,if all else fails I just hope the ref stops it before he gets hurt,,worst comes to worst he could always 'do a rahman' and probably still fight the rematch clause anyways,,,you worry too much,,its boxing for ****s sake
To those thinking he's hyping Joe up surely you must be joking. Whoever doesn't realise how good Calzaghe is and thinks he requires "hype" is delusional, end of story. At this stage it's only fair to be worried about Jones' health going into this fight, it's a very dangerous fight for him and we all know he's past it and lacks the stamina to keep up the speed, power and movement. Joe will be there to take advantage of ANYTHING he could find and with Jones being as shot as he is there will be quite a lot to take advantage of.
