If you know boxing basics, you will know this. The only thing I see changing is Mayweather's guard. He can't effectively shoulder roll a left so he has to switch to the high guard. Something he's going to be uncomfortable with. If he gonna win he can't let Pacquiao get a rhythm going. He's going to have to really feint a lot and set traps to counter. Pacquiao has to do similar. Don't let Mayweather dictate pace and slip his right hand and counter. Get close going to his right, cut straight lefts around Mayweather's probing jab and set combinations up

I agree with everything you say here....

and i'm not trying to be difficult but....

The example i used in my first post pertains to this. Stance alone nullifying one of your opponents most effective and often used defensive tools is an advantage.

Define special? It may not be special but the angles are completely different so if one boxer has vast experience along with the muscle memory that is gained through the repetition in those experiences and the other doesn't it is an advantage.

Being a southpaw alone won't win Manny the fight but it is an advantage in and of itself. Simply put the video makers assertion is wrong.

Thank you again for your concise response. Really enjoying your opinion and insight.

I think I'm over-simplifying my statement about the left-hand. Your point about experience and being "used to the angles" is valid. I just don't believe this experience factor will be much of a big deal for somebody of Floyd's experience level.

Your comment about the Michigan defense is correct. I believe Floyd is smart about mixing up his defensive looks, and I feel he'll be looking to neutralize Manny's left hand early on. If that means going to the high guard, he will. Just IMO.

Again, great responses. :good I love talking boxing. :bbb

Wilson Kayden and his gay accent also praised Floyd for lunging, but criticized Pacquaio for stepping. The guy has an agenda.

At the end of the day, you can post any video you want to prove that Mayweather is somehow superior. That's still not going to stop him from getting an ass beating for Pacquaio.

That's all there is to it.

The videos are for technical ****ysis and discussion. It's meat for the discussion. Not to "prove who is better." You could have bumped and responded to the thread I started with this same author: Praising Manny Pacquiao's punching technique. (Did the author have an agenda by praising Pacquiao too?) Apparently, Pacquiao fans weren't interested in talking about one of Pacquiao's great strengths and how it could cause Floyd problems. :huh

If you feel the video is off-base, and the author has an agenda, please feel free to post another video ****yzing Floyd or Manny, in a technical manner, that will dispute the ones I have posted in various threads. I'd be happy to view it. :good

Who is better will be "proved May 2nd." :deal Not by a boxing video.
