I tore both rotator cuffs 1 hitting heavy bag, 1 sparring.
I live with this I work out with this, I bench press, flip tires, do pull ups, learned bjj with them.
All of these boxers have shoulder issues, hand issues, elbow issues. Its not possible to throw your hands at this velocity 5, 10 , 15, 20 years and not dislocate, tear, damage anything fro the knuckles to the shoulder.

They can have surgery at any time but you can live with these injuries, surgery takes time from making money. Unless you ofcourse lose a fight.
Then I suppose its time to go get that old shoulder injury fixed.
    or ducking a future fight
Time to go to get that elbow surgery done and get those bone spurs out of there.

They are all hurt, some just choose to get surgery after they lose. Mainly espn fighters.
