This sure would be something.... what with Fury, Price, Dallas, Chisora, Rogan etc.... who would be most likely to join and what would be the results?

This would no doubt not take as long as the super middle version at world level.... this would idealy take just over a year so it don't hold them back from going on to bigger thigs.

A round robin tournement like the Super 6 could only work at world level and not at domestic level.

As prospects you need to have a certain number of fights at a level and then move on otherwise your career with stagnate.

a straight KO would work at domestic level. I prefer super 6 at world level.

If the gap between fights was short enough I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Frank Maloney wouldn't be happy though.... he'd be getting no trafficking money :yep

How does it take less time? None of these fighters are going to have more than three 12 round fights in a year. It would take just as long as a the super 6.

Rogan, Chisora and Fury seem like the type of fighters that would love an oppertunity like that if they had the chance and as long as it would be over alot quicker than the world level version.

It don't have to be the exact format.... who said they have to be title fights at the start? maybe the british and commonwealth titles would only be up in the final or finals?

why would it be over a lot quicker than the world version?

Sexton vs Rogan 1 & 2 were 6 months apart. Rogan blamed his loss on the fact his fight with Skelton and Rogan were so close together.

the reason the Super 6 works so well is because you have 6 guys who are all at the same level.

you cant put a prospect like Price and Dallas in with Chisora and Sexton and guarentee 3 fights. What happens is Price gets knocked out in 1 round agaisnt Chisora, do you still wanna see him agaisnt Sexton???

Bare in mind Chisora and Sexton are really not that much more experienced than Dallas and Price as pro fighters, aswell as their amatuer experience. You've got move them up sooner or later and if they lose too badly they can always be pulled out.

pulling a fighter out of the tournement makes it pretty much meaningless. my only issue with the super 6 is that Taylor has pulled out and hes been replaced with Green. For me its meant that Ward, Abraham and Kessler have had an easiar run of fights than Froch and Dirrell and its devalued the format. I have no issue with the amount of times it taken.

A knock out comp would suit me fine.

Get Rogan, Chisora, Sexton, Fury, Larry, McD, Price and Sprott in there and have Audley ready to face the winner and Dallas on the ready for a drop out and we are fine.

Dallas needs more fights before moving into any class.

Larry does too but he is old so should just jump in and sink or swim.

Price has his am career so should be at a good level by now.

Too many of those guys are deluded into believing the are world class so they wouldn't do it.

Audley, Williams, Skelton, Sprott made sense because none of them are world class. Unfortunately they don't train very hard and are often boring.
