The punch was effective because it wasn't anticipated - nothing more, and nothing less. Right before the knockout occured, Lewis laughed at Rahman as he bounced off the ropes. He wasn't mentally ready and it laid him out. It was a Pacquiao/Marquez type of knockout.

Wlad is actually old and he looked old in his previous fight, so I don't think Fury needs lucky punch to win . Prime Wlad would KO Fury , but wlad of today may win close UD or lose.

Thats the best type of punch you can throw. One your opponent doesn't see coming.

Before we go ANY further in this discussion lets get this fact out and in the open:

Tyson Fury has THE biggest KO% of any Heavyweight opponent Klitschko has ever faced.

Who'd have thought a 6'8+ 19 stone, 20 something guy would have that kind of power?!

Luck had nothing to do with Rahman's punch vs Lewis. That was sloppy defense by Lewis and Rahman took advantage.

Yea against C class cruiserweights. How many one-punch KOs does Fury have? Where he hit a guy clean on the chin with a single punch and the guy didn't get up anymore?

    How many? :deal ZERO!

Fury is feather fisted. He goes on epic battles with guys 60 lbs lighter than him. He leans on them, hit them with 500 punches until they fall over. He has zero KO power.

If he get the lucky Punch he wins it, thats it..

But his chances are worse cause DINOHELMET backs him and we all know what happenend to Dinos earlier HEROES:

    Haye
    Povetkin
    Pulev

all the Gusy that Wlad never ever and really never ever for sure would fight :deal

Povetkin... Pulev... Thompson... Price... Ustinov... and even Wlad :deal

Only Wilder has a more worse resume in the HW Division then Fury.. and we all know this fact

We would then have to imagine Fury had power to do it!

If Fury has the power to stop Wlad, then Wach should've KTFOd him. Check out the Hammer fights of both.

I don't think Fury COULD throw a right like that.

His punches are very awkward and seem to lack power, he stops opponents via accumulation and the sheer mass of his body.

Wouldn't even mean a lot. Wladimir now is much further removed from his prime than Lewis was then.

I can't imagine Fury throwing a punch like that.

It was a terrific right from Rahman. But, Lewis was way below par; moving sluggishly from the off. Rahman had already warned Lewis with the right in an earlier round and once again in round 5, before landing the eraser.

It wasn't so much that Lewis didn't see it; more he'd almost decided he wasn't going to move out of the way of anything. His feet might as well have been starting to take root in the canvas, from round two onwards.
