Imagine if Joshua had a psyche like Lennox Lewis had.

Even after the defeat, Lewis was never afraid and always went for the knockout in the rematch.

Joshua is an outlier. Most fighter’s don’t take a loss this hard.

The Ruiz loss might still have happened, but clearly less likely that he goes 0-2 against Usyk. With Lewis psyche I'd make him a big favourite against Wilder and a clear favourite against Fury, but, on the flipside, neither would agree to face him if he had that psyche. Just like they wouldn't before he got KO'd by Ruiz.

Funny though, during much of Lewis career very, very few would probably guess that he someday would be discussed as someone with a strong psyche. In his prime, that was considered his weak point.

AJ gets KO'd 9 times out of 10 against anyone with a punchers chance regardless of his mentality.

No, not one loss, but back to back losses... Well, some, like Barrerra, bounces back from them as well.

He tried vd Usyk though. Was doing betrer than the first fight, was hsving succes with the bodyshots and looked on his way to put the hurt on Usyk in the ebd till Usyk turned the momentum around in round 9 or 10 and won a clear decision.

Lennox Lewis always looked tired in his fights despite having good stamina. Joshua's stamina is more comparable to say a Frank Bruno.

Joshua from the Klitschko fight was exiting and brutal. Even after getting dropped hard in that fight he still took Klitschko out. It's a shame the Ruiz fight changed his mentality so much.

AJ just believed he himself to be that good. Was pampered. Then Usyk came out and spanked him - it happens. Somple as.

Lewis knew his own ability, he knew that if he trained right he was better than anyone else out there. He also knew when to box and when to take his opponent out he could do both at a level above the others.

I thiught he changed post klitschko fight. He been more gunshy since then. Ruiz and Usyk losses obviously ruined him more.

Joshua could hardly throw a punch for rounds after the knockdown,he was literally there for the taking but Klitschko did not take the opportunity when it presented itself. Joshua to his credit got it back together though and stopped Klitschko in the 11th round whilst up on two of the cards, however this fight was the beginning of the end for Joshua. I would love to know what Klitschko had said on the hard drive how he was going to beat Joshua that had been sewn into the hood of his dressing gown to later be auctioned off for charity . I wonder if it said a points victory and he was sitting back content thinking he had it in the bag until Joshua rallied and stopped him ?

Lewis was a better fighter regardless, I don't think pre loss AJ would have been able to beat Usyk.

Mental midget but his physique already demonstrates that. He's got weird body builder physique...never works in boxing.
