Imagine if Wilder manages to knock out Usyk...

  1. That would be crazy, brother, CRAZY. I'd be kind of happy for Wilder.

Wilder is the zombie of a myth.

A massively declined fringe contender with one trick, never pulled that trick off against anyone legit and always had massive limitations.

Wilder in his pomp was heavily protected for very, very good reason - Usyk losing this would be the fluke to end all flukes, and it'd give Wilder a credibility he in absolutely no way whatsoever deserves.

    Crap fight.

Dog**** fight, Itauma would take this version of Wilder out in 1 round, never mind Usyk.

Heck, the shot Whyte that Itauma took out in 1 round probably still beats this Wilder - they're both shot, but Wilder ducked Whyte for good reason.

    Crap fight.

He didn't want to fight Wardley for exactly this reason -- Wardley was going to knock him out.

2026 Wilder is the safest 'name' fight out there for anyone in the rankings. He is absolutely cooked. Those 3 fights with Fury took a huge toll.

Wilder dropped Fury numerous times. Including nearly knocking Fury unconcious in round 12 of their first meeting.

Next you are going to claim Fury isn't legit.

    Flat earther too?

Wilder has no chance. His power is GONE. I know people always say, "power is the last thing to go," but that's only true of "real power." Real power comes from mass, density and technique. Guys like GGG, Beterbiev, Zhang, Foreman, etc. had this "real power."
Wilder's power came from shocking speed. He would reel back hard and whip the punch to shock his opponents rather than hit with with a heavy, concussive blow.
On top of that, Wilder's supposed freakish power only ever showed against lower-tier opponents and fighters with known shaky chins. When he stepped up to world level, he couldn't dent Zhang and Parker, who have since been KOd.
Usyk's "Ivan" punch sends Wilder back to Alabama in a body bag.

Wilder is a much safer version of Wardley at this point, and still a bigger name, especially in the US.

Imagination’s the only place you’re getting that outcome. Usyk would put that boy right back where he belongs, dazed, folded, and wondering what just ran through him

The danger here is that it is so uncompetitive that Usyk might have to make look like he’s not just playing with his food.
Regardless of the result this has to be the greatest gift any boxer has ever been given, wilder doesn’t deserve a look in.
But it’s clear that this will be Usyks final fight, he is aware that age has caught up with him.
Wilder is the easiest fight he can take and in time history will read that he fought everyone in his era.
I think it’s an absolute joke of a fight but I’d rather him go out like this, than be fed to a young dangerous fighter who hasn’t earned his shot at the champ.
It surprises me that he wants to go out like that when he could ride off into the sunset.
It also makes me even more confident that my theory on Anthony Joshua’s strategy is absolutely correct, after Usyk beats wilder in what will probably be an embarrassing fight for many reasons mainly because of absolute dominance from Usyk, he will retire but hopefully he will just come out and say it rather than just get stripped of his belts for not facing mandos.
But Joshua will be there to claim an easy gift fight for his 3 title.
Either way looks like a crazy situation where Tyson fury is retiring in the most dignified way (can’t believe I just said that about a drug cheat)

Shot Wilder took 7 rounds to stop a binman in his last fight, who had previously been stopped in 90 seconds by a poor man's Wilder in Ajagba.

He did nothing with Parker or Zhang and the Parker fight was over 2 years ago now. Wilder is 40, effectively finished since late 2021.

    It's not a 10% chance. Not even 5%.

I agree with this and also add that Wardley doesn’t deserve a shot at usyk regardless of his position as interim champion/ paper champion or whatever he is but someone who didn’t win their title in the ring doesn’t deserve a shot at the king.

Would love to have this fight in Vegas or NYC and NOT in al Turkey-land.

The only place this fight makes a lot of money is in the US.
