    I know its not cool to make excuses but seriously, Tyson was still pretty good even after Lewis until he blew his knee out against Williams after the first round.

    A motivated Tyson was still beating the likes of Golota leading up to the Lewis fight, Rahman was getting koed by combination punchers like Oleg.

    True and my description of the mid to late 90's contenders were that they were all basically the same. Limited to the same level in their own rights. They could all beat each other on any given night.

    I dont think it is by any means a foregone conclusion that Tyson would have won.

    I do think that this was as good a chance as he was going to get.

    I would also have been interested to see the press conference.

    Me 2, that would have been awesome, Rock could hold his own with Mike when it came to talking trash!! I still loved when he and Lennox got into it at ESPN studios, great stuff I may have to pull that tape out tonight and watch it..
