Pontious.. I wonder if this ****** would be able to last more than 6 rounds.. I DOUBT IT...... this tool is not going to see his 50th B/Day. Another heart attack victum.. or Liver shut down. Ask Andy Hugg about it.. Im suprised that you would suggest that he would even compete in 12 round bouts, even with mediocre oposition... I actually respected a lot of your opinions..... inadvertaintly.

Right after getting stopped by Wladimir Klitschko, he was asked if he was the hardest puncher he ever faced, and he replied "No, Lennox Lewis was.".

Without making a judgement on whom of the two hits harder, i think this is another case of praising the one who you think you've beaten instead of the guy who beat you from pillar to post.

And there he did choose Lewis over Morrison.

Even though they were the ones getting hit, i think you can't put too much stock into what they say. It's comparing events from several years ago and often a lot of it is emotionally based reasoning.

:yikes:nonoI feel you misread his post. He never said he would go 12 rounds and mentioned the bigger glove scenario igor would face. Steroids? Legal in Japan, yes but SOME proof igor was doping would be appreciated.

He seems to have natural power and heavy hands but his technique is not so good if he had better technique he would have even more power.....he pushes some punches....he could definately be a even bigger puncher thats for sure....I like the 2nd guy he fought they said he was trained by Marcianos trainer....MArcianos trainer was Charlie Goldman and he died like 40 years ago( hahaha)

"Read between the lines"... This is my personal favourite means of having an open mind, or being a REALIST.
Regarding Olev, take a look at him.... a very very very unnatural physique, combined with the speed and fire... the man IS A JUICE HEAD.
IF a cop sees a car swerving all over the road, the first though is 'drink driver'. ... in most cases, its proven... Oleg is an obvious user.
Regarding steroids being legal in Japan... child pornography was also legal there until a few years ago. japan is famed for its 'over broadened acceptance of questionable activities'..

Olev is just a short term combatant.. and the memory of him might be impressive for the common folk, however, he leaves no lasting impressions in the minds of realists.

Do you mean Igor or is that his middle name? In regards to his physique, we all come in many shapes and sizes so it does not appear to me to be a "steroid" physique. Of course i am no expert on the matter and someone like Scurlaruntings has a MUCH better understanding of it.

Yes, Japan is a bit strange on many things and I do not feel Igor would be very successful in pro boxing because the bigger gloves would nullify his power greatly. That is not speaking of his crude technique and power drunk dependence on that right hand.

Well there you go...proof that fighters contradict themselves often. I also think fighters, despite actually taking the punches, are often an unreliable source for evaluating this sort of thing, especially if that fighter was knocked out.

Tyson was a murderous puncher and it is dizzy to say otherwise. His technique, build, malevolent intentions, and fast-twitch fibers combined to make it so.

This Igor guy had the unqualified cooperation of his opponents, especially the last who posted his chin upwards as that wide right was coming in. Igor's technique is trash and Berbick, Norton, Thomas, and Morrison would have zero problem with a 5'8 HW with bad technique.

Igor was a quality fighter with serious power but he wouldn't have had much success in boxing he achieved a lot in mma and thats where he belonged, don't try to compare fighters from one sport to the other their different. Put it this way he wouldn't have been as succcessful in boxing as he was in mma.
