Wilder didn't run away from anyone. He's exactly where he was when he and Joshua and Fury were all fighting for Showtime.

Then Joshua left when Hearn inked a deal with DAZN. Then Fury walked away from a rematch and signed a deal to fight guys like Oscar Rivas on ESPN+.

They left Wilder. He didn't go anywhere.

He's still standing there. WBC heavyweight champion. About to make his ninth title defense. The MOST FAMOUS BOXER IN THE WORLD. About to ink a deal with Showtime that'll pay him more to fight guys like Whyte and Kownacki than DAZN was going to pay him to fight Joshua. And the freedom to fight on any platform he wants if they pay him what he's worth.

Deontay Wilder is the MAN. The King of Boxing.

It has such a nice ring to it.

it's like people are purposefully not seeing what happened. wilder has a very good chance of getting knocked out by breazeale and then that's it for his massive payday with joshua even if he were to beat breazeale in the rematch. he could have a locked in contract right now with guaranteed money with two joshua fights and a chance of getting all the belts but no he is risking it just to make a stupid point and to show that he is indeed haymonds and finkels drone baby.

Wilder's got just as much of a chance of getting knocked out by Breazeale as Joshua does getting knocked out by Miller.

DAZN didn't offer Wilder a fight with Joshua NOW. They said come here and fight Breazeale and Joshua will fight Miller and we'll fight later in the year.

All Wilder did was say "I'll fight Breazeale on Showtime and you fight Miller on DAZN and let's talk afterward."

    That's it.

Frankly, I think Miller is more of a live underdog than Breazeale.

If Joshua loses, there wasn't going to be any Wilder fight in the fall, either.
