Don't know about the Sony but the JVC in the right conditions has black levels and PQ that's probably better than the best plasmas. PQ can drop off quite a bit in light rooms depending on the model, so you ideally want a seperate blacked out room, serious buffs blacken the walls of their room. But if you just use blinds. If you just want to have a play John, I managed to get a 720p high contrast DLP projector for £300 ($500) (it was 5000 when it came out in 07 :shock and a 100inch screen for £40 and in dark conditions it's probably better picture than my Panasonic Plasma and the size is so impressive. You'll need an AV Amp too mind you. It really is fun to have a home cinema and it's 1 of my best purchases I've made.
I'm sorry......but I'd like to watch the chick in your avatar on that over priced television set.....:admin....She's blessed on many different levels and confirms there must be a GOD. Who is she.....?
That's Denise Milani. There's currently a thread dedicated to her over in the Lounge..... http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=346330
I'm not the least jealous,PP; and when the police grill me about the arson of your home, I'll stick to that.
How big was your previous TV? After the initial WOW factor of the giant TV in your home, how long before it was taken for granted?
