IMHO Sir Golovkin should stay @ 160 and rule it with an iron fist

    Who is sven ottke?

EDIT: i'm 100% sure some guy said, "yes, but ottke will be remembered as an undefeated champion". And now...you can all see what happened. The same will happen with gigi. Someone will say "please, dont compare XXXXX to ggg, ggg's resume was sh....t". And that's what will happen.

You guys need to realize if GGG has all the belts, then ANYONE who wants to be world MW champ will HAVE to fight him. That means less fringe contenders. It means Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs, Lee, Eubank. And I think we all want to see those.

Also, any explanation as to why the hell Ring ranks Canelo at #1 and Quillin at #6 above Eubank????

He said.....on a side note.....GGG might not do well at 168.

Yeah, GGG could stay at 60 and comprehensively clean it out for another 3-5 yrs before slowing down and getting potshotted and outpointed by Spence or Lubin.....

But why? 3 more fights.....break the record....with or without BJS, he's already Undisputed, holding the 3 major MW titles.

Then onto 168 at age 36 and dominate it until he can talk Ward, Kovalev, Beterbiev, or whoever is ruling 175, down to 172.....win or lose, hang em up as an ATG.:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

GGG could retire now and he'd be far more remembered than Ottke.

Golovkin should stay at 160 like Hagler did and break all the 160 lb. records................he has the best fights at 160, he can fight The Chicken, Jacobs, Saunders for a fourth title, Quillin, etc.

Why? for being undefeated like sven ottke was? maybe for his fight vs ishida? for his fight vs monroe jr? for his fight vs "i've never fought a 12 rounds fight" wade? does he plan to do a mega-trilogy vs macklin in order to be remembered?

No, the truth is that he will be forgotten, exacly like ottke. Who? yes, yes, ottke, he was a guy that was a boxer some years ago...

Ring is owned by GBP / Oscar.

Eubank Jr beats both Canelo and Quillin @ 160 lbs.

Yes, but still the biggest fight for GGG is Canelo @158/160lbs. At 168 I don't see any high profile fights. IMO GGG could make something great for his legacy by fighting Kovalev - Ward winner @ 170/5 lbs. :good

I'd reckon Kova-Ward winner the truly No 1 P4P fighter and a future ATG LHW fighter next to RJJ, Hopkins, Calzaghe and Tarver.:smoke
