i know steward knows that his man is most likely in against the best fighter he has ever faced, actually steward said this-FACT
i have read what alot of ppl think of this fight on here, and they dont think anything of it apart from klits knocking sultans head off. well if he does then, klitschko is an awesome fighter!

Sultan is not just a good fighter, he is a great fighter (in terms of skill) who is used to fighting much bigger guys, i have watched his fight against felix savon, and he didnt have much trouble fighting the 6'6 fighter.

klitschko is very defensive minded imo, he throws when he knows he wont get hit. sultan can be aggressive and his countering/defense has improved alot over the past year. it will be interesting to see how both handle each others shots.

overall this is a very interesing fight, your crazy if you think its a mismatch. skill wise, sultan is the most skillful of the HW champs imo.

The sultan who fought Ray Austin would get destroyed in 2 or 3 rounds by Wlad but by all accounts he has improved considerably since then so now i think he can last for 6 or 7 rounds

You are obviously the minority in your way of thinking, Iggy is a pretty good fighter, nothing more nothing less. His best wins are over Briggs and Holyfield, both of which he fought catiously and showed no killer instinct what so ever, also having a draw and being floored against a guy that Wlad walked through, doesnt help either. Judging by his resume he is being rated just right IMO, this fight will either prove the haters right, or prove the haters wrong, will just have to find out tonite.

Exactly. Sultan is in a lot better shape than Austin. He had Austin down in four but Austin came back because Sultan wan't in as good of shape as he should be. His weight is a lot lower for this fight. He is giving himself a good chance due to his conditioning. Sultan is a better fighter than Corrie Sanders who knocked Wlad out and like Corrie Sanders is a southpaw.
Not to be ignored though is that Wlad is a lot better fighter than when he fought Sanders or Brewtser.

i give him about a 20-25% chance of pulling off the upset. Which is really not much.

I think that it seems like Sultan is better than he is because the rest are so much worse.....Wlad is the best heavy right now in a sea of blah

Sultan seems to be the equal of Calvin Brock from what I've seen. He'll probably exit in the same manner after to keeping it even for the first four or five rounds.

you mean he was a great fighter when he drew with ray austin, a much bigger fighter? ibrag's got good speed is very good overall - his lack of greatness and size will be evident tonite (as it was vs austin and briggs and hold arguably).

If Sultan was fighting someone different then he'd probably be getting more backers. But he's in there with what is arguably (or not) the best guy in the division, and it also seems a rough style match-up for him if the Briggs and Holyfield fights are any example.

    So no wonder, really.
