Impact Fighting Championships ** Spoilers**

I was almost looking forward to this more than the Uprising in Sydney next week, since Shamrock-Rizzo could turn out to be just plain sad. Ninja in action and Kang-Filho probably makes it the better card than the mostly mismatched Brisbane event, though.

 

Oh Manny is a top bloke. And I'm so glad he dropped down to 145 where he's much more suited to the weight. His fight with Aldo should be entertaining.

Parisyan though is just an arrogant douchebag. This mostly stems from his run in with Nate Diaz on TUF 5, as well as his general attitude. 'Dude, do you know who I am?' ****! Nothing pleased me more than seeing him have the **** kicked out of him by Thiago Alves. In fact I may go and watch that again right now.

As for Barnett, yeah he really should try and get these fights with the top guys, and he deserves them too. I'd love to see him against Fedor, Werdum etc. Overeem less so but only because I'm a big fan of both. Scott Coker would be stupid not to try and get him in Strikeforce, as well as guys like Parisyan, Daley etc.

 

Ah - I've never seen a single episode of TUF, so wouldn't have known about that. :good

 

Understandable. TUF is ****. I didn't even see the season, and don't watch it at all anymore, but I've seen the video of the incident and he comes across as a *****.

1) Defend yourself at all times. :yep

2) Personality to me is secondary to how exciting one is. That's why Nick Diaz is on my shitlist, he doesn't compensate for his douchebaggery by fighting in a way that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Some people seem to like it, but not me. He's effective in a very ugly way with his pitty-patting.

 

What time will this be on GMT. I want to try and watch it.

 

If its in Aussie they are like 12 hours ahead so they'll put the card on at 3pm? I thought it would be on at like 9-12pm.

I thought it was pretty entertaining, Jesse Taylor has really looked impressive since going super-douche on the limo.
